As well as providing accurate readings, all gauges appear to work correctly. Nevertheless, the gauges fog over to a lesser extent than those described in the review dated September 13, 2014, which also observed this issue. It is NOT Amazon that I am complaining about, it is Auto Meter. informed me that Auto Meter's policy was to return the gauge at my expense so that they could "figure out what was wrong with it", which involved taking it apart, applying a "defogger" to the glass, and doing some internal testing. "I asked respectfully why Auto Meter would not replace a brand new defective product with the option to simply fix the defect. He replied bluntly that replacing the gauge was against "Tough, that's the way it is," was his response when I apologized for my disappointment. If a company fixes new gauges, I wouldn't consider it as their standing behind their product. I would strongly suggest considering and comparing competitors' gauges. The Autometer experience has been extremely disappointing for me.

Although I was satisfied with the gauges, the only thing that was disappointing was that they were not backlit like a modern gauge would be. There are very old school gauges on these.

The Auto Meter 13118 2 was installed as part of the installation One sixteenth of an inch This is a nice replacement for the old column. It looks and works great. mount on the gauge is a little flimsy, but the gauge itself is well built.

In the AutoMeter dual holder, I installed this Oil Pressure gauge and a Water Temp gauge. The gauges serve a great purpose, and both are accurate when compared to other gauges. One problem I may encounter is the inside of the oil guage has fogged up and contains a film on the inside of the glass that needs cleaning. There is no problem reading the gauge but it simply seems to need cleaning. When you consider that you are simply getting a regular gauge with Jeep screened on it, this is an extremely expensive product. I thought the gauge was good in general.

I find it very useful. There is, however, a failure of the sending unit every 5 to 6 months. The third one is now on its way. The frustration is real.
