AUTO METER 2698 Z-Series in-Dash Electric Tachometer, 2.3125 in.

This is a small, lightweight, and smooth operating unit. It fits comfortably in my A-pillar pod. The digital Glow Shift tachometer was the first one I tried to match my other gauges, and I went through three different ones before I found one that was accurate. This is my first time buying this product, and it is great. I pressed the mounting bracket into the pillar pod, although it wouldn't fit perfectly, but it's a snug enough fit that I was able to fit There are a few mounting studs that seem excessively long, but you can trim them easily enough.

It's been my dream for years to have a 2" Tach to fit into the original holes in the dashboard of my 1957 Chevrolet. I would have preferred the Mooneyes clock for its look, but since it can no longer be found, I ordered the Autometer clock instead. There is nothing cheap or flimsy about the quality (no knockoffs from China).
