Questions & Answers
Lt. 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Between the grill and the radiator, I've got six individual trumpets. They are mounted around the radiator's edge so that air flow for cooling is not obstructed. Four compressors are located in the front of the engine compartment, with two trumpet lines measuring 4'FOOT and the rest measuring 3FOOT. They have a fantastic sound and are extremely loud! 4' would get you from the cowl in the engine compartment up the windshield/door piller to the roof liner and roof on one side or the other. Before you go to all that trouble, you can try out the trumpet hose length. 6ct in my truck is VERY LOUD ALL THE TIME! Trains outperform me, but only by a small margin. Isn't it funny that I signed it with a LOL?
Without a doubt.
Simply splice the horn wires into both of them. The compressor will not be able to run in both modes at the same time. When I locked my truck, the horn didn't honk (lock feedback), as if the compressor couldn't do it. I decided to keep the stock horn on the truck.
Hello, and thank you for purchasing our product; however, there is no start button included in the package.

***Recent changes: After a year, it now sounds low and ominous, like a clown's horn. I'm not sure what happened. It lasted exactly one year**** I was shocked at how loud it was. It was purchased to replace the wimpy horns on my cabover truck, and while it isn't as loud as semi trucks, it is loud enough. Due to a faulty connection on my steering wheel horn, I installed a horn button on my door for easy access.
It's a great deal for a lot of sound if you know how to wire 12v DC through electrical relays. A few installation suggestions:
1. Remove the obnoxious "thin-skinned" phrase. Use fuel injection hose (rubber tubing designed for extreme temperatures and high pressure) instead of double-walled vinyl tubing. br>2. To ensure that the hose does not leak or blow away from the fittings, use hose clamps on both ends. br>3. To reduce horn delay and maximize pressure at the horn, place the compressor as close to the horn as possible. br>4. Do not use the OE horn circuit to power the compressor; instead, connect the positive lead to the relay directly from the battery.
5. Connect the ground connections to the body at a point that is as clean as possible. Before attaching to the body with a bolt and washer, remove all grime, rust, paint, and other debris with a dremmel, grinder, or sandpaper.
I'm disappointed in this product because it can't possibly be 150 decibels, and it's more like 89. My stock horn is nearly twice as loud as the one I have. Never the less, the relay and harness I received were garbage. When you inserted the relay into the harness plug, it pushed the wires out the back side of the plug. After an hour of fiddling with cheap Chinese parts, you'll realize the harness is a jumbled mess! Worst of all, my installation took a long time because I wanted all of my wires hidden, as well as the horn and pump. So when I finished, I expected to be able to blow my ears out with joy, but I had the weakest, saddest little horn ever! I was, and still am, enraged!.
I was able to connect it to the internet. The horn was blown three times. 4 times. It didn't work the following day. This is where you should start looking for the source of your problem. It has power all the way in but none coming out.
After reading all of the reviews and comparing it to much more expensive products, I decided to give this product a try, fully aware that it was most likely a gamble and would be relatively inexpensive. The horn itself is silver-plated, but I'm not convinced it's made of metal. If you know how to wire, the installation is simple. If you want to mount this under the hood, the harness is far too short, so you'll have to either buy a separate kit with a relay and switch or lengthen the wires. In the garage, I had an LED light wiring kit with a harness, so I used that. The one that came with it appears to be a cheap harness, but anything can be made to work for whatever purpose you have in mind. br>br>Because this might not last long, I temporarily mounted it in the grill of my Ram 1500 under the cross member support and secured it with some nylon ties using the OEM horm mounts as a brace. Drilling holes and mounting is not something I recommend because it may not last indefinitely. The horn is significantly louder than the Ram's factory dual horns. It's a single horn, so it won't scare the crap out of you like a tractor trailer horn, but it'll definitely get someone's attention and it'll be loud. I'm very impressed with it, and I only use it as a toy or to jack with people, not as a replacement horn. In addition, I wired this to a small momentary horn that I could install in the cab of my truck without making an unsightly hole in the dash or trim. br>br>Overall, this is a good horn for the money if you're not looking for Cadillac quality on a Ford budget. I recommend giving it a shot and appreciating it for what it is, rather than being a cheapskate and complaining when it fails to meet your expectations. That is not going to happen anytime soon, in my opinion!.
The installation went smoothly, and the horn functioned properly. However, a few months later, my child pressed the horn button for about 10 seconds. After that, it didn't blow for the rest of my life. Following Amazon's 90-day return policy. (br>The compressor was blown out by one long honk - No response from the company I attempted to contact the company but received no response. As a result, I'm in the market for a new compressor for a brand-new product.
The horn itself is louder than I expected. When people say "it's not loud enough," I'm convinced they're attempting to deafen those around them. It actually appears to be quite sleek, which is fantastic. The only issue I had was with the installation hardware, which was all very cheap and poorly fitted. This makes the installation much more difficult than it needs to be, but once you've got it down, it'll stay in place reasonably well.
This one was purchased to replace another brand that I purchased on Amazon with good reviews but turned out to be a dud. So far, everything has worked out well for me.
