Selected User Reviews For Taylor Cable-64652 HI-ENE CUST8CYL BLU, Blue
The Taylor man has now become me. In my case the fit is terrific, the color selection is excellent (ford blue), and I had much easier time starting the device. And to answer Teresa's review below, the "weird" blue actually matches the factory blue in my '65 Galaxie rather well. Having said that, the Fords of the '69 and later model years are a darker shade of gray. In addition, you shouldn't be expecting factory looms designed for 7mm wires to easily accommodate wires that are 1mm larger in diameter. If you go into these cables with these expectations, you will be more than happy with them.

It is a good thing that you can send the wires back if you want. Several bad connectors at the cap and the plug end of the cable is extremely tight. You'll pay $55 when you buy. Although there have been problems in the past with Taylor wires, I have used the company for a long time and have never encountered this problem.

Although the product appears to be of high quality, due to the size of the compartment, I was unable to remove the other cables and install it. It was cool to be able to choose among multiple coil wire options.

They are Taylor wires, but not Taylor made for that particular vehicle.

Did the plugs, distributor cap, and rotor, and the car runs on the nose now, and I'm very happy about it. There are still points there even with the old ones! In the blink of an eye, it starts up. And the Ford blue goes really well with it!.

The wires are Taylor plug wires, so I thought they would be sturdy and reliable. I just installed them, and the clip came off my first wire as soon as I pulled it off. I was not pleased with the quality and durability yet.

The performances have gone well so far, keep them up I am quite pleased with the way the vehicle is running, and I like how it looks as well.

These wires were used on my 302 Bumpside Ford. I had a pretty nasty carb backfire before installing them. It has not backfired since then. Please note
- There is a length and straight line to the boots on the plugs. When the boot has seated on the plug, you should hear a click. Make sure you have plenty of dielectric to prevent sparks. I'm sorry. In comparison with my previous set, they were a lot smaller. My wiring job is much easier now around the distributor because of this.
