This is the exact wire set for Chevy trucks with V8 engines from 2014. They haven't changed much in 20 years, so previous years are likely as well. Heat shields are not included with these wires, but they can easily be removed from the old wires and replaced with the new ones. br>br>The wires are identical to the original set, right down to the wire markings, and they come greased on the spark plug end, so you won't need to buy any dielectric grease. br>br>For your truck, this is a highly recommended part. Because the original wires can be difficult to remove, I recommend getting these if you're changing plugs for the first time on your truck. You'll almost certainly break at least one when pulling it off.
SIlverado 5 was released in 2014. 3 with a total mileage of 77,000. Plugs have been replaced. AC Delco is used to connect the wires. It's a stock oem that's the same as factory, so you'll get the same good quality. It'll also do the same job as it did when it came out of the dealer. It's no problem because the size, length, and quality are all the same.
I used a multimeter to check the resistance and found it to be 3. 59k ohms. My corvette's old connectors still show 2 on them. 54k ohms. As a result, I chose to keep the old ones.
