They are the original Kohler parts and not those made by generic manufacturers. There may be similar products from other manufacturers and they are likely of good Additionally, Kohler kits cost less than half as much. with installing them is they are spaced by 9 thousandths, which makes getting them tricky, but with 10, they work fine and are much more accessible. A coil pack is likely the culprit if there is no spark or weak spark in your motor and it is not the ground.
