In addition to direct sales representatives, IH used There were two main types of Holleys the Holley and the Prestolite. The Holley distributor should receive this.

Could the V8 in a 1969 Scout 800 be adapted to this?

Your 266 features a different distributor depending on which is installed. As I already have the Holley distributor on my 266 I was able to install this model without any problems. It is my understanding that the Prestolite distributor requires the Pertronix model to be a different one.

V8s are distributed by at least 3 different distributors to IHC according to what I know

In doing the research, I came to the conclusion that I had a Holly one. The installation was easy and the product works well. For me, there will be no more points. Best of all, it was a returned item, and I got a good deal on it.

The installation process is very simple. While my engines did have a significant change in timing, it was not necessarily a bad thing. It's just pure joy to hear my 1975 international 392 V8 purr away.

The module face had screw marks, indicating that it had been installed

Since there were screw marks on the module face, the fastener bag had been opened, and connector(s) had been cut off the wires, we must assume this unit was installed in a vehicle, removed, and Black electrical tape was also used to tape up the box. It was returned to me immediately and a replacement has been requested.

Intuitor by Pertronix is a widely used product

As a result, I installed a Pretroxi 40011 "flame thrower" in my International 304 and installed a Pertronix 1481 "ignitor" inside the Holley distributor and gapped a pair of new AC Delco plugs into the engine. The first time it fired off was 42.
