My 1999 Trans Am seems to have no problems with the kit. The D585 coils mount perfectly, and the stock LS1 length MSD 8 is the perfect fit. The wires fit perfectly with a 5mm diameter.
They ended up being thrown away before I even installed them. End up moving the coils to a factory in which they are lowered. I had long plug wires, so I did not need to cut them.
In a nutshell Despite the fact that they look good and do what they are meant to do, I wish they had some polish. I've not tested the stock hardware, but the included hardware seems to work fine. It cleared my coil packs from the valve cover and helped me get everything in order.
My '06 5 was installed with this file. The brackets partially block part of the coil plug on the 3L only to find that they are partially blocked by the brackets. The brackets for your truck will be sold and reinstalled.
