What is the best fit for ?

There's no reference to an XP 150 in the manual. As an electrical perspective, I can report that the spark plugs were ignited with a strong blue spark when mounted on my 1995 Johnson outboard. It was a perfect mechanical fit and electrically it operated according to plan. In recent months, my motor has been running better than ever. Having Sierra on your side is a good idea.

It is compatible with most late models from 1980 and later The point will not fit within the breaker point.

The output resistance appears to be questionable

Both coils I purchased measured within spec, but on the higher side. They came in at more than 370 ohms compared to all my existing coils which stood at slightly less than A range of 200-250 is specified for specifications As a result, I did not want to take the chance of damaging the power pack by installing 2 coils that were so far outside the package. There were no problems with returns, so all is well.

Despite being cracked all day, they didn't last for a full day

After finally getting my pontoon out, I noticed that it was spitting at full speed after about an hour or two. The cover was removed to discover that each of the three coils had a crack. So I'll be putting back on the old ones. This shows that I cannot return the items due to their expiration date, but Amazon helped me out to replace them again, so I would appreciate your good luck with the new ones.

This part fits the 1987 Johnson 6 horsepower

It happened with weak spark, and I tried these coils, and they didn't help. The CDI box needed to be replaced.

I chose to replace all 4 coils I have on my 35-year-old motor with these rather than replacing just one with these. Here is my old coil*pr>*pr>*pr>
I replaced my old coil with these as well.
