MOSTPLUS Distributor with Spark Plug Wires Ignition Combo Kit Compatible with Chevy SBC 350 BBC 454 HEI 850002 D1002

I bought this set to replace my distributor, which had a bad pickup coil and chewed wires, on an old truck that I had parked for a while. It seemed to work fine at first, but after a few months of occasional driving and about 1,000 miles, it has caused me to set twice in the last week. As soon as my engine reached operating temperature today, it began to cut in and out. Once I got it started and was driving toward home, it began to cut in and out again, resulting in a massive backfire that blew my muffler apart; hopefully, that was the extent of the damage. Don't waste your money; once I got it home and cooled down, it started right up and ran fine.

WHEN I RECEIVED THE ENGINE FROM THE MACHINE SHOP AND PUT IT INTO THE TRUCK. IT WAS UNABLE TO BEGIN. WE FOUND OUT THAT THE DISTRIBUTOR WAS AWFUL. THE RETURN DAT, ON THE OTHER HAND, WAS OUT OF DATE. SO I MADE A $100 MISTAKE.

It's a cinch to use. This was installed in a 1987 Chevy 3/4 ton truck with a 350 engine. It's only one wire that needs to be turned on. Along with it, I ordered a pig tail. It's as simple as connecting the key switch power and it's ready to use. For the price, I'm very pleased. Will be placing additional orders.

I've had them come off different plugs four times now, and none of the distributor ends have completely removed themselves from the cap end piece. The distributor performs admirably, but I would save time by purchasing one without wires.

To make everything work, I used a Performer RPM intake, a Holly Street Advenger carb, and this distributor.
