Questions & Answers

The gear is attached to the shaft, but does it come with it? The shaft was two pieces at the gear and was purchased from another dealer. What did their picture show (rather than what they looked like)?

As far as I am aware, the gear was attached to this shaft. My shaft sheared and left me stranded in the desert in Arizona after approximately 500 miles when the roll pin holding the shaft broke. As I used it in a motorhome and did not drive it every day, my return time was up, and I had to keep

It has too big of a diameter for the gear. Do you have any other gear that I can use?

It could either be the wrong distributor or it was shipped with the wrong gear if it's too big. Do not attempt to repair something you just purchased instead of returning it

My question is, seeing there are only 10 left, what happens if the distributor fails in 2 months, and there is no replacement for the manufacturer's warranty?

What can you get for bar tab money if you want a HEI complete distributor? Yes, it is a big one! This is also stated in the article. When I bolted this into my 351 Cleveland, I made the one-wire connection and it was off to the races. My engine has never sounded this good. It makes sense that from 5000 volts to 65000 volts, there would be a voltage difference.

In 1978, I replaced my Dura Spark on a Ford F250 351M. Starting and idling of the truck has improved since last time. We have only travelled a thousand miles, so we must see how long the battery will last.

Having a concern about is all I can think about. Everything seems to be going well so far. It's only the plastic holder holding the harness from the coil to the module that concerns me. The program runs smoothly, however. I will buy it again if I need to.
