Questions & Answers

What are the dimensions of the two fittings (outside diameter)?

Thank you very much for your inquiry. They're for a quarter.

In which direction does this valve need to be installed? I understand that one way allows the vacuum to pass through while the other allows the air to flow freely, but I'm not sure which way to install. ?

This is a one-way check valve that allows vacuum to enter a vacuum storage tank. Consider vacuum to be the polar opposite of air pressure; to determine which way to install it, place your mouth on one side and see if you can blow through it. If you can, the vacuum will pass in that direction. Another option is to place your lips on one side and see if you can suck and allow air to pass through. If possible, connect this side to a vacuum generator, such as your car's intake manifold.

Is there a match between the inlet and outlet sizes?

Yes, they are identical in size.

Is it possible to use it in a liquid state?

I've tried it with liquid and it works perfectly.

I'm writing this review with ulterior motives, more of a piece of advice than a review, for older Dodge pickups
5/5

br>br>There are no issues with the check valve. It was used to fix a vacuum leak that was affecting the climate controls on a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500. That concludes our analysis. br>br>The recommendation is to locate the initial vacuum port (which appears to be on the passenger side of the block) and replace the first check valve with a 90-degree elbow. I squandered a significant amount of time before figuring out where the check valve was. br>br>For the record, I primarily work on Chevys. Needless to say, a Dodge's plumbing is entirely different. br>br>Even if it only helps ONE poor, stupid SOB. It was a good use of my time. The Duck br>br>.

Materials and construction of the highest caliber
5/5

For the past ten years, I've used this exact model for special vacuum projects. These are bulletproof and authentically vintage. the caliber of the school I've bought them over the years, and unlike so many other items, they haven't changed. In every way, this is a solid product. I use these for around 26 inches of mercury (inHg) and they last for a very long time. It was most likely made in the United States. It doesn't matter where they're made; they're not Chinese junk. The barbs are nice and sharp, and the housing is very durable. The bi- The addition of color serves as a nice reminder that these transition from black to white.

Both Nipples and Nipples are 1/4" tubing sized
4/5

It's just a simple one-way low-pressure valve, and it works perfectly. In our spa, we replaced a failed Ford part that prevents the primary pump from becoming airlocked during startup. Wait, I'll go in there right now and test it for you, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa That's right, it's effective. One star deducted because it was nearly twice the price it should have been, but that could just be me being spoiled by today's prices.

The air conditioner works as it should, blowing through the vents
5/5

My 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ had a problem, and I was able to fix it. The air would speed up as it passed through the defrost with the hvac fan on. It worked perfectly after I swapped it out. You can't mess it up because it only works in one direction.

Finally, a successful solution! I thought I'd never get my Jeep's 4 wheel drive to work again because of this cheap universal vacuum check that everyone sells that doesn't work, but this part worked great and I don't care if "this part does not fit your vehicle
5/5

" I'm relieved that someone is still producing a functional part.

It works perfectly, and there's no more gas all over the place! This was purchased to replace the check valve on my 2001 Kawasaki Ultra 150 jet ski, which had failed
5/5

br>When I awoke, there was gas all over the driveway and on the side of my ski. The check valve turned out to be defective! After a quick search, we were able to get this installed, and we've been fine ever since. br>On a Kawasaki ultra jet ski, check the valve for a fuel breather tube!.
