Will this fit a Chevrolet Silverado from 2009?

On the MSD website, it says that gen 3 is available. LS engines from the fourth generation

What's the problem? I ordered it and it's installed, but the led is on even though the vehicle isn't running and the trigger wire isn't connected. ?

It activates the module and turns off the light when it reaches a certain rpm; mine does the same, but it's fine.

My truck is a 1999 Silverado 1500. 3 Is this two-step approach feasible?

Yes. Simply plug it in and go. Installs into the factory coil harness and can then be adjusted to the desired settings.

4WD 1999 Chevrolet Silverado Plug and play installation is simple. I hooked up the brake wire (the white wire that comes from the brake switch) to a switch. It's a great product that arrived in a timely manner.

Msd 2 step helps with drag strip times and could also be used as a 2nd rev limter if desired on a 5th generation HCI ls3 camaro on a tire.
