In my race truck, the MSD coil works well with it. I'm not sure what the numbers are, but MSD's website should have a tech support section.
RPMs as high as 9000. That's what I've been told.
It works great in my Y Block 292, all the way from Argentina.

Money well spent, because the car started at 25 degrees in Michigan as if it were 90 degrees in Florida. My Chevy 350 engine has a lot more power than it did when it was new! Fill in the blanks.
What a difference it makes. In a classic Jaguar XJ6, I paired it with the MSD blaster 2 coil. What an enormous leap forward. Anyone who owns a GM HEI ignition system should consider this modification. Jaguar did, in fact, use GM HEI ignition systems. br>I'm going to put this in every Jag I own!.
I'd just swapped in an HEI into my 1969 GS after switching from a failing point eliminator kit I purchased here. br>Drove it the day before this module arrived, it ran better than the kit, installed it and noticed she starts up even faster than before, barely needs to bump over and she's running, wish these had been available back when I used to cruise GM rides with HEI, but glad I found it now so I don't have to invest in an expensive ignition system.
So far, the conversion of a Dodge Ramcharger to hei has been successful. I'm not sure how much mileage it has because I only drive it a few miles every other weekend.
Thanks to MSD, the best distributor parts money can buy are now available.
Only time will tell if it worked well on a 25-mile drive.
