As far as I could tell, the MSD tach adaptor did what it was meant to do, making an original '68 charger work. The toc tach works properly when paired with an MSD digital 6 ignition unit (and a blaster II coil) and Edelbrock Pro-Flow intake kit I installed the Flo 4 injection system into the 440, so the tach would not work correctly without the # 8910 tach adapter, and that diode (that comes with the adapter) in circuit as well, so, all is well with that This moment.
