It is great that ACDelco is providing this OEM replacement ignition coil. With ACDelco's Professional series, you are guaranteed a long life and reliable service. was looking for an engine replacement for my 1995 LT1. This was a lot less expensive than the dealer's. Installing this in the car took me maybe 30 minutes. The old coil has rivets you will have to drill out and the mounting bracket will have to be reused. The old ignition coil would make a spark when the plug was not in the cylinder, however the engine would turn over but not start. Replaced the old ignition coil with this and the engine started right up. There was only a little bulging of the epoxy on the old one, which was the only sign it tested bad.
