Is this gasket sealed with rtv?

My gaskets are always made with the black gasket maker. To avoid an excessive amount of squish, just apply a very thin coat.

Is this intended for the front or rear of the vehicle?

For the removable cover, this gasket is designed to fit the rear of the differential, which is toward the back of the car.

The gasket is outstanding

Good Fit! Surface that has been sealed and has been damaged. This gasket (green RTV diff gasket maker) was installed with the help of gasket sealer. As a result of the damage I discovered from the Ford dealer who had previously replaced the differential oil! In addition, the Ford manufacturing company leaves a rough milled surface finish (125-150). On the seal's face, there are 250 Ra! It's not good if there's a lack of quality control. That's all the more reason to use a gasket sealer. br>br>The gasket itself is excellent and well constructed. I was on time. It had been stored in a cardboard sleeve for a long time and had not been bent or kinked.

This listing claims to fit my 2005 Ford Ranger 2WD, which I entered. br>br>I just double-checked to make sure, and it still says it fits my 2WD on the listing. br>br>Not compatible with 2WD. It was a waste of both time and money.
