A very thin gasket is used. I was finishing up in the dark, so I sprayed "The Right stuff" on all mating surfaces, waited 5 minutes, added gear oil, and drove it. There have been no problems in the past two months.
Put some glue on one side only and you can remove the cover without having to scrape it. If your fluid is "goot," pour it through a coffee filter and reuse it.
They sent the incorrect product, and it's not the quality you're looking for; it's practically made of felt, and it won't stop a leaking differential.
I'm not sure if I made a mistake or not. However, it did not fit in the way I had hoped.
I completed the task in a professional manner.
It arrived in a massive envelope that was encased in a massive box. As stated in the title. It does not leak, and it was delivered in a timely manner.
Exactly as stated.
However, I'm not sure how long it'll last; it appears to be working for the time being. Also, it's a little pricey for what it is.
