There is no danger to the ignition wiring at all! I recommend you not use it. A couple years after I bought mine, the crack appeared.

No leaks at our house or the park 5 miles away. I drove my car to the park 5 miles away and my kids home 15 miles away with no problems. In the 95 degree heat of Houston, I noticed a small puddle under the car in a restaurant parking lot while driving to my girlfriend's house 25 miles away. When I got home 3 hours later, the gasket was squeezed in so tight that it looked like play-doh. Although torque was proper on some sides, there was some dough! A leaky gasket was torn at the point of contact with a bulge! Three factors could be at play You run the risk of leaking if you tighten bolts less than specs. It is likely I did not hammer the edges as straight as I could but maybe I didn't try hard It might be necessary to buy a new pan with a perfectly flat surface There are too many temperatures outside for rubber gaskets to withstand.
Does a good job at treating minor surface defects and surfaces that weren't necessarily cleaned with the proper care. Make sure you don't get swayed by reviews from people who have no idea how to use this piece. Sealants should not be used in addition- Its own weight keeps it firmly in place. As you tighten the pan, go all the way up to 10 The size of the container is 14 feet wide To avoid pushing or pinching gasket material, place the weight in a crossed pattern so as not to push it or pinch it. With properly prepared surfaces, the pan won't leak and can even be reused. The manufacturer may be in favor of reuse, but I'm not sure.
A C- is the grade I have A leak was found in 4 trans. Despite my best efforts, the cork gasket on a TCI cast pan went completely flat, so much so that the The Gasket (very expensive) is well worth the price I paid. Inside the gasket is a metal piece that makes the gasket very thick. About half an hour was needed to tighten up the screws. By the time I am done I can see how the gasket is actually extending out of the pan, maybe a 1/16 or 1/8 inch. There will be no more leaks! While you try to attach the gasket to the transmission, you must hold it in place with something. In the end, the Permagasket product worked well, but I would have preferred 3M general purpose trim adhesive to work The heavy aluminum pan was held in place with the aid of a bottle jack.
See the pictures for what it looked like Don't waste your money on this expensive gasket and use either RTV or an inexpensive rubber gasket.
am able to say that this gasket really works, as it is the only place on my C4 that does not leak. I love it!.
However, I am not sure if it would do a good job or not since it causes the bolts to loosen and The bolts might have been loosened even if it did not force them to loosen! When I posted my question on a Ford forum, other Ford forum members also told me the same thing. Do not waste your time and money on this!.
There are no leaks! Is there anything else I need to say? Unless you are going to pay the extra cash and buy a Morso Gasket, I would suggest that you purchase another type of gasket for your car. By using the instructions below, you will avoid headaches and leaks that will be visible.
It fits like a glove, and it's of good quality.
