The bolts inside the exhaust pipe flange need to be removed before this can be installed, so you should either use a torch or, if you don't have one, get a ball joint press and press the bolts right out. I have lived in New England for 20 years and the products still worked well after all that time. Make it easier to get to all the bolts by removing the muffler. As a result, once I figured out how to undo the bolts, it only took a few minutes to install. The exhaust system does not need to be hacked up like most muffler shops will.
