Due to the fact that the piece is in my uncle's car now, I can't check.
The height is 5 inches.

Unlike the picture, this is not what I expected. A steel mesh gasket (like an old Chevy used to use) that I can pack full of that exhaust gasket maker is what I need to repair a nasty leak in an old 250k mile jalopy. This appears to be the one. It's not real. The junk in the package is solid pressed cardboard or some other kind of material that has no use at all. It is understandable that products change sometimes, but at least update the image on the website. Earlier, I bought two more bosal gaskets that are the same as this one.
Unlike the one in the picture, the exhaust gasket does not have braided edges. With the 4Runner (2004) Gibson exhaust this did not work well. The Bosal bolt kit I purchased for this job was not utilized to its fullest. This chainwraps the exhaust pipe from headers to mufflers. Open end goes towards the back of the In addition to its wide flange, Gibson exhaust has a bright finish. It took a lot of trips to the hardware store to get new stainless steel bolts, which were used with springs from the exhaust bolt kit and secured with stainless steel nuts. Overall, I did not want the new exhaust muffler to be tightened to the header pipe. Make sure you don't crush the gasket either when tightening. I think it works since I am not able to detect exhaust leaks.
Unlike the wire mess depicted in the picture, this gasket is not at all messy. Rather than allow them to continue selling, I wish they would be banned from Amazon.
I have a problem with this gasket, even though it seems to seal even though the flanges are high up against it. This is not a significant issue, since the intent is to replace O2 sensors and Catalytic converters instead. As far as I can tell, it looks like it has been replaced. When driving, it would be nice if we did not have to hear the slight exhaust leak. I guess I'll just live with it. There is rust and old materials everywhere, so it's likely to cause problems.
I use a nut gasket for a downpipe due to it being very tight.
Despite the fact that it was difficult to install, it sealed up beautifully.
In this case, it works.
