Exactly the opposite of what it looks like in To fix a nasty leak in an old 250k mile jalopy, I was looking for a steel mesh gasket (like the old Chevys used to use) that I can pack full of that exhaust gasket maker. This one looks like the right one based on the pics. I can't figure which, since the junk that came in is some shiny solid mass of pressed cardboard or something else, totally worthless. The image should be updated at least if the product has changed. Bosal gaskets of this model and another brand were purchased at the same time.

It was purchased by me to use on a 99 Ford Ranger, a 4WD vehicle. I had the same model of vehicle as the one in the above image, but it looked nothing like the one shown in the image. I thought it appeared more solid, it looked like metal, but it was The above product was coated in something, at least as far as I can tell. Honestly, that is the only thing that makes me a little concerned. There is a difference in the image between the products, so I wasn't sure which I received.
