Emflex exhaust gaskets are available in a standard 1/8-inch thickness and are designed to crush by 50 percent, allowing them to fill any pits or gaps in the flange surface up to 1/16 inch.

No rubber binders or composite materials are used in Remflex Exhaust Gaskets, so they're not susceptible to shrinking or hardening over time or during extreme temperatures, which eliminates the need to retighten flange bolts constantly

My 2010 GMC Sierra was fully functional after I installed the gaskets. I was pleased to find that they were much thicker than the paper thin gaskets that came with my headers and of high quality. As they are designed to be crushed when tightened, as well as to expand, they didn't need many nuts and bolts replaced A torqued nut. The price was well worth it.
