The fiber side is sandwiched between two panels of metal mesh. A diamond hole cutter was used to cut every hole. With diamond hole cutters, the fiber sides are prevented from tearing and the metal mesh is easily cut.
My copy did not come with such a spec sheet.
You can do it if you have the tools to cut the material into

On a boat I have two Detroit diesels that need to be serviced sometimes due to no longer being able to buy new gaskets. It has been necessary twice to make gaskets capable of withstanding 700 F operating temperatures for exhaust manifold to exhaust riser joints. For this type of gasket, I have found that I can use 5961 the best. I was able to complete the job using a simple band saw and bench top drill press. I found that the material holds together well for drilling and cutting, much better than other materials I have used. Even though this will never be an easy task and you might take longer than expected, your final result will be good.

There is a problem in cutting this material without it A small portion of the gasket material, which is referred to as the paper portion, is prone to tearing. Shipping was very slow and the price was much higher than it must have been.

For making Cobra side pipes for my kit cars, it worked great for creating an exhaust gasket for the customer. From the headers, I cut four 2" holes for the primary exhaust tubes that connect to the 90 degree turnout collectors using a diamond cut out tool i bought from Amazon. They doubled up on rubber gaskets on both sides to ensure that no exhaust leaks formed, and it didn't fire back when the throttle was backed off. It sounds cool however.

A custom exhaust gasket made from this material will work when it's difficult to find exhaust gaskets for an old vehicle. I used it on my old bobcat skid steer. It had an inner metal liner that made it a little hard to cut out.

I was pleased with how it worked.

It was easy to cut with sheet metal shears
I think I made (6) 3 inch exhaust gaskets
the seal was quiet and no leaks were noted.
Gaskets in auto stores that fail after 3 months despite the material being thick and durable should not break down as soon as they are installed*.

An air gap. You've got some good stuff there! It’s hard to overestimate the strength of middle layer of metal. A number of other gaskets had blown out. A pair of scissors will do perfectly, but watch out for sharp edges!.
