There is not enough clearance between the door hinge and the body so it will center over the fuel hole or original screw hole. The fit and finish is excellent. However, I had to cut down the body for my 99 Jeep TJ in order to make room for the hinge door. In any other case, it won't easily snap into place. Aligning the holes should be no problem after you unscrew the Allen screws as long as you line them up. As soon as I receive the metal cloak fenders and body armor, we plan to exchange the screws for something more durable/ long-lasting. The new gas filler bit is a good replacement for one that snapped in multiple places on my previous fuel filler bit. To hold the fuel filler neck in place, we used longer original outside ring screws instead of the short ones that came bundled with the kit. It's just that the threads are so short, and one of them is even questionable.

The top and bottom Allens are held together by nuts. If you want to attach those to the body, you will need to drill holes. As the top drills into the cab, the cab will be drilled as well.

Replacing it took no more than 10 minutes, and it is perfectly fitting now. This assembly seems like a quality product and dressed up my Jeep nicely. The weight of it makes it seem like a quality product. So far, it has been one of the better upgrades I have done.

The product is great! It was actually designed for 97-98 The 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ. However, it has held up for two weeks so far and seems as though it will fall off soon. The door is sturdy and feels nice when it is opened. There is a slight bend in the lip of the door where you open it, so you can easily open it. You can clip the model on to the body, rather than screw it on.

My 2006 Jeep Wrangler could not be installed with this product. In order to attach it to the vehicle, there are three clips, but I can't press the top clip There is a plastic clip that holds the system in place, but it does not screw into the original holes in the vehicle.

You did a great job! The installation process is simple. After removing four screws, replacing the filler piece, and clipping on the new cover, you should spend about 15 minutes. Several of the instructions didn't apply to my 2000 TJ, and they weren't very helpful. I really like how it turned out!.
