There is a need to purchase a separate plug/drain for the Despite the description saying the drain is at the bottom, they do not mention if it is available for an additional cost. They show a fancy drain that includes a water sensor which I thought was an option if you wanted to add a warning light for the dashboard. In order to drain off any water that might accumulate, I created a small drain. This filter does not seem to have a simple drain, or if I will have to purchase the one offered at more than twice the filter cost!.
If you have a 9 cummins engine, this is the fuel filter you need.
