If there are no pictures here, you can look it up on Google, but I can assure you that it's a very well constructed In comparison with most other cans on the market, this is well worth the cost.
Fine meshes make up the internal baffles of the air conditioner. Under normal circumstances, it should not need to be cleaned. Depending on your driving habits and engine condition, you may need to drain your vehicle more or less. My drains are serviced every 400 to 500 miles (on average). It's a bad idea to let your canister fill up completely since it
There is an opening and it can be cleaned. If you unscrew it you will be able to separate it It only needs to be drained as needed once a year, and I only clean it once a year.
All these air/oil separators to which I have been exposed do not have gauges. The only time I have ever had a full tank of fuel was at that interval, and I just drain mine every 3 thousand miles

On the 7 L engine with about 202 miles on it, there was a layer of black gooey guck inside the throttle body, plenum and intake manifold, and cleaning it off took some time. Due to this, I wanted to protect my investment (and build) as much as I could, thus the purchase of this kit. The kit comes with all of the accessories pictured. I did alter the brass fittings from the original 3/4 to 1/2 as another purchaser had modified his. In my case, the mounting was very easy. I used an aluminum L bracket and cut it down to fit my needs. I then drilled two holes in the back in order to attach the can holder, which is attached to the back of the bracket via two My vehicle already had a hole in the floorboard from the factory, so I did not need to drill any additional holes. Connecting the rubber hoses (also provided) to the nozzles, then attaching them to the can, was relatively straightforward. The can was placed in the holder and the length measured, then cut according to size. I secured everything and gave it a wiggle test to ensure no metal to metal contacts were present. I then started the vehicle and checked to make sure there were no vacuum issues and no codes were displayed. As time goes on, I will have to wait to see how well this performs, but for now I am very happy with the As you can see in the picture, there are no hose clamps attached, I did add them once everything was mounted.
Though it's a very basic two chamber separator with mesh, the Catch Can does the job as a catch can. I replaced the 3/8 brass connectors with 3/8 male thread connectors with 1/2 inch barbs after removing the 3/8 brass connectors. Despite the thin walls of the connectors that come with the can, they restrict the flow of fluid unnecessarily. I don't understand how they did it the way they did. Four stars are due to its pretty design and the way it appears to work well.
The engine bay of my 4Runner has all the accessories that I have added, so to find a location to mount this unit took me awhile to figure out. The Catch can was very well designed and had good hardware, which allowed me to come up with a really neat mounting method. It has not been on the T4R long enough for me to know how it performs, but I have read positive reviews about the Moroso 85474. Please thank Amazon and Moroso for their support of the org forums.
The mount can be taken apart to remove it once it is mounted but it works.
The release valve does not empty all the oil from the system, depending on where it is mounted and how much room you have.
Definitely one of the best Catch cans. Chinese catch cans are cheap in China, so I went through 2 of them. As a result, oil leaked from the tanks and gave the truck an unpleasant smell. In spite of my reservations, I decided to purchase Thank you, Moroso. I'm very happy with this product.
All the hose fittings, the drain valve, and the fasteners holding the bracket shut were not included when I received this item.
Since the Moroso company has manufactured high end car parts at a reasonable price for a long time, we bought this air/oil separator for a modified turbo WRX with some oil leaks. With an inlet and outlet baffle, as well as filter screens both sides, this unit has two distinct parts. of the reservoir holds the trapped oil and contains a convenient drain valve, it can be unscrewed from the top quarter. The form and function of this machined aluminum package are excellent. Feature all mounting and plumbing parts, as well as being made in the USA if it matters to you, as It's a very good price for the quality and compared to some of the crap I see on the internet. I recommend it.
The product is extremely well built and can be filled easily. The face looks like it is CNC fabricated from aluminum scrap. Despite the small size, this apartment has a lot of amenities. On my 1972 Fiat 500 (500 cc engine), I installed it. This product arrived on time and was very easy to install with the bracket it came with, which is also a very nice CNC-cut piece. I'm very pleased with this product, and it has good reviews. I'm counting on it being good.
