Questions & Answers

How can I purchase just the bracket? I recently purchased a universal charger and the bracket that came with it will not work with my 2014 charger. ?

Make contact with Moroso.

Is this compatible with the Charger Scatpack from 2017?

It does fit my 2015 Challenger 392 SRT, so that's a plus. It's ready to use out of the box. If it's a 392, I believe it would.

My car is a Challenger 392 scat pack 6 from 2016. Will a 4-liter hemi engine suffice?

Yes, I used it on my 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT 392. It's all good.

Is this going to work on a 2006 1500 hemi?

Any engine can be fitted with this bracket.

Great Concept, Terrible Execution! I read many reviews for the Moroso Catch Can in my years of dealing with various high-quality car performance parts, and the majority of them were very positive on various sites and forums, including Amazon
3/5

I've had a couple of other simpler catch cans without the spigot before, and they worked fine and were machined much better than the ones I had before. This one by Moroso is one of my favorites. First Issue: br>br> There were no instructions on how to put the thing together. Second Issue: br>br> Moroso should have at least partially assembled these units, such as the brass fittings and spigot, for the price paid. br>br>THE MOST SERIOUS PROBLEM: The brass fittings and steel spigot assembly that needed to be threaded into the body did not fit properly. Before beginning to assemble/screw on the pieces, I lubricated the threads. What a DREAM COME TRUE! Only after a single day The parts would no longer budge after two complete turns. The fittings and spigot had to be removed, and the body's aluminum threads had been severely chewed up. Because I have some mechanical and machining experience, I spent some time cleaning up the chewed-up aluminum threads on the body. While doing so, I discovered that Moroso thread pitch did not match the brass fittings and steel spigot thread pitch, causing the brass fittings and steel spigot to chew into the aluminum threads. For $138, it's not exactly a confidence booster. When lower-cost units sell for around $90-per-unit, the 00 catch can product is a bargain. The fittings thread pitch matches the thread pitch on the aluminum bodies, and the fittings are much better machined at $100. I know this because I still have two different catch cans from other manufacturers, both of which are simple to maintain. br>br>With the help of a vise, I was finally able to get the fittings to screw in. br>br>Overall, the aluminum machining of the body is great, and the design/concept is great, but the execution and details like the thread pitches not matching the fittings is a huge negative. My advice is that if you are good with tools and know what you are doing, this is a great catch can solution, but for the novice who only has br>br>Best of luck!.

Easily installed in about half an hour by a complete novice on a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus
5/5

Kit arrived yesterday, and I quickly wrapped up my yard chores and got to work. When I opened the box, I discovered that all of the pieces needed to be put together. On that piece of paper, there are no instructions, only a parts list and a few pictures. I found a fantastic video on YouTube that explains all of the pitfalls ahead of time, which saves time during installation. Here's how to get there: A roll of white plumber's thread tape is one item that isn't mentioned or included in the kit. If you don't already have it, you should be able to pick it up for a very low price at any hardware store. Okay, so when it comes to putting the parts together, it's important to remember that the screw-in parts are threaded, so they won't go all the way in, maybe 2. 5 turns. To ensure a secure seal, wrap the threads in plumber's tape. Assemble the catch can loosely and test angles to the can's final location in the engine compartment, then tighten everything up when it's to your liking. My vehicle was a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus, which I installed. It took about a half-hour to set up and install everything. The OEM elbow and tube, as well as the majority of the supplied hose, were used. Advantages: br>br> Simple to put together and put in place. The drain is easily accessible and fits perfectly. Part is of exceptional quality. br>br>Cons: Just the assembly, but I understand why you need that flexibility because each installation could be different in terms of configuration. br>br>I would recommend this over some of the less expensive alternatives because the high quality of this item is obvious. It all boils down to quality, and a name brand like Moroso delivers with this catch can. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> So, I changed my oil and emptied the catch can for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it is to reach beneath the spout and drain into a cut water bottle. No mess. There's no need to stress. = contented camper A few more images have been added. This product has exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend it to others.

IN COMPATIBILITY WITH K So far, the packaging has been satisfactory
3/5

I particularly like the box-in-a-box design. One issue was that it did not come with instructions, which made installation a little more difficult; additionally, the YouTube videos were very old and difficult to understand. After a while, I decided to do it myself after looking at some pictures. The fact that it is incompatible with a K is a major issue. The CAI sensor comes into contact with the oil catch in N CAI, which is a major flaw. When you try to close the hood, the catch can with the sensor comes down with you. The CAI sensor wire is subjected to the heat generated by the catch can. It has the potential to cause significant damage to the harness, but I was able to work around it.

It's a complete kit that's simple to put together
5/5

Putting it together wasn't too difficult. On my 5. 7L I used all of the original tubing except the small piece on the PVC valve because the hose was collapsing at the intake hole and I needed an elbow to keep it from collapsing. Install the fittings, then disassemble it to clean out any loose metal shavings before putting it back together with Teflon tape on the threads. Metal shavings should not be allowed to enter the intake system.

Worked as expected, though some adjustments were required
5/5

I had to make some modifications and mount it in a different location (bolt off the radiator mount) and I had to purchase hose to go from the PVC to the Catch Can to the Throttle Body, I also used one 90 degree bend for a clean look and was able to keep my engine cover on.

Excellent product! Always remember to read that you'll need one of these if you plan on keeping your car until the wheels fall off
5/5

It is relatively simple to set up. It began filtering enough oil to drain from the container after only two weeks. In comparison to cheaper models that require unscrewing the housing, the drain spout with built-in valve makes it a breeze to empty.

Outstanding and extremely useful! For my 392 hemi, I bought this
5/5

One of the hoses had to be held in place with a zip tie, but this could have been due to aftermarket fittings from the eBay special catch can I replaced. I believe the 5 is what you should use. I used the 6 bracket instead of the 7 bracket for the 392. For a cleaner appearance, I reversed 1 bracket.
