My purchase was verified*br>When I ordered this part, I apparently did not notice the small print next to "Fits Your 2001 Dodge Ram Diesel" A few notes Date Is 07/02- This is what it means This is how you do it I have mentioned the ENG CODE seven times so far. Rather than the Hastings FF1160, I ended up with a Hastings FF1260. After checking multiple part suppliers, the FF1160 has been determined to be the "correct" filter for the Dodge Diesel 2001. On the other hand, it appears to be exactly the same as the truck's filter (I ordered the 1260). Consequently, I contacted You are 887-886 If you prefer, fax it to 8836 223, 234. In terms of micron rating, the FF1160 filter has a rating of 11 microns. Additionally, a quick glance at the Hasting web site reveals that they are EXACTLY the same size for the FF1160, and So I'm going to pick the filter that has the "Better" filtration level of smaller microns! The Hastings filters here on Amazon are half the price of anywhere else! My mechanic practically fell over when he heard the price. The FF1260 is a 5 Micron filter instead of the FF9498), and the Very Courteous Service Engineer informed me that that was the ONLY difference. With the FF1160, you can choose a filter with an 11 micron rating. Mopar/Fleetguard's equivalent filter has fewer pleats and more area for dust and dirt to collect, while this filter has far more pleats and filtering areas. For a longer period of time, it keeps a better ability to convert fuel to flow through the medium than the other brands. Despite its aging appearance, the construction is in good condition.
Taking the time to research filters for the 2005 Dodge Cummins, I chose Hasting as it meets Cummins specifications. This is an excellent product that is better than most.
My 2007 6 doesn't work with this tutorial. Combustion engine with a 7-cylinder.
This item was purchased at a very good price. I am extremely pleased. These filters are of substantially higher quality than those found in local parts stores, and I bought it for a very good price. The diesel engine in my car will get a new one after 15K miles.
