Could that be used as a prime, so my lines connect to the carb properly?

I have owned a lot of old cars and often used these as backup pumps after the car had sat for a while and the carbs and fuel lines had drained. This way, you hold the 12v button for a few seconds and pump the accelerator a few times, then you should be able to fire right away. Keeping the battery from drain from an old, weak fuel pump trying to fill the entire fuel system and fuel bowl will be worth it. I am a hobbyist mechanic with 30 years' experience.

The threads are 1/8 NPT, if I remember correctly. The pump was only able to deliver about 3.6 gallons of water per minute. The odds are 2 to 5. The CJ7 setup should only allow 5 psi to the carburetor.

It appears that this pump is available under several different brand names and several are cheaper, so do some comparison shopping. In addition, it has a design flaw that these devices seem to all share, which is the size of the inlet and outlet. I would think it would be ideal for lawn tractors, or would be if the inlet and outlet sizes were 1/4" rather than The only problem I had was that I had to buy a pair of reducers in order for the 1/4" fuel line to fit. Otherwise everything worked great.

The fuel pump is replaced on a motorcycle

Pumps for cars, trucks, boats, and generators are not the only uses of this pump. In 1988, this was the fuel pump that was replaced on my Honda vt1100c shadow cruiser. There is a need for a pump that can operate with two tires There is a 3 psi pressure leak. The pumps on the internet that are cheap get better reviews than the ones on this site. The offer does not apply exclusively to the vehicles listed in the advertisement. IT WORKS WITH A BIKE AS WELL.

that there is anything wrong with the pump, it just couldn't keep up with a Weber The Psi and flow were good, but neither was enough.

Made only two psi guess it does what it says but would have loved it if it were close to four. I'm probably going to have to get a new one after installing it.
