nicely to renew my Holly pump that had been sitting for a long time and probably had only traveled 50 miles. It was only a matter of getting In my old motor, the vanes were brand new and the rotor was set in varnish so it would not break off. There is a separate kit that Holly sells Each kit should contain all the materials needed, and not be divided up.
An old Holley Blue fuel pump that was leaking was repaired by replacing its rotor, vane, and lower gasket. I love how it fits and works so It is a bit pricey for the materials, but worth it for a leaky pipe!.
I just lost the old parts. The original parts were perfect.
The Holley Red pump on my old car has probably 20K miles on it, which isn't a lot, but apparently enough to degrade the fuel flow. I think I may have contributed to the problem by letting it air dry couple of times (for only 30 seconds each time). Using the stopwatch on my pump, I measured the fuel flow and it was about a quarter of what it was supposed to This kit restored the fuel flow to where it should be after I installed it. It is much less expensive to have this done than to buy a new pump, and I expect that it will extend the life for a few years (although eventually the electric motor has to fail).
My red pump is working again after being out of commission for several months.
There was a frozen pump on my shelf that I decided to use since I had it sitting there. It works like new now that I took it apart and installed the rebuild kit!.
