It was used for the Edelbrock square bore conversion of my 1971 4300D. It worked fine, but the Mustang with ram air lost a lot of hood clearance. I'm not sure if the pattern on your 4350 is the same as mine.
This is designed to convert a spread bore carburetor to a square bore carburetor (holley/edelbrock) while maintaining the stock intake minus egr. It will not work for what you want if your stock carb is a spread bore, which it must be for this adapter to fit the manifold.
I believe I had a carb spacer added to mine, so I needed longer ones. However, without the spacer, it would be possible to complete the task.
This carburetor adapter is only compatible with Ford 460 V8 engines from the 1970s that have the EGR valve installed in the original plate.

What a brilliant concept. This little guy came through for me when my Ford 460 carb needed to be upgraded, and the EGR delete arrived right on time. My carb is much happier now, and the custom install was a breeze. Guys, you did a fantastic job.
At $57, it was the best deal I could find. A new $230 is beaten by a new 00. 00 manifold, as well as less work. It gave my 1976 F-150 a new lease on life when paired with a rebuilt 600cfm Holley carburetor. More power for the 150 with the 460 engine. The only complaint I have is that the PCV port is on the front of the adapter, whereas every Ford PCV piping I've ever seen goes to the back of the engine. Fortunately, the Holley had its own PCV port on the back, which required a little modification to the steel PCV line to reach it, but was preferable to trying to reach around the front of the adapter. Simply plug in the adapter's port with the provided plug.
The holes were fairly well drilled, but the provided studs were crooked, so I was unable to use them. I also had to use Edlebrock Gasketsinch because my original gaskets were leaking air. It appears to be machined flat, but I'm guessing their quality control isn't the best; however, it was the only company with an adapter for a Ford squarebore to an Edlebroke Carb.
I have a 1977 Ford F250 with a 460 engine that has an original Motorcraft spreadbore manifold that I replaced with an Edelbrock 1407 squarebore. This is the right adapter for you! It's not a quadrajet manifold, to be sure. Make sure you're not using the incorrect adapter!.
For AMC factory 4bbl manifolds, this is the proper adapter. They've been used a lot.
The product and construction are excellent. This was not compatible with my Ford 370 4V motor. A spread bore plate is one that has a lot of holes in it. Sad day.
It wasn't the right part, but it did the job. It was for an older 460, and this is a 1985, but it still works.
This is a nice piece of aluminum, perhaps a little too nice for the old farm truck I installed it on, but there aren't many options when it comes to these old Ford Motorcraft manifolds. You can either buy this piece of automotive jewelry or replace your intake with a new aluminum unit to which a modern carb will bolt. I chose this route because a manifold is at least three times the price and requires a bit more work to install. This is the way to go if you need to be up and running quickly.
