How do I know if a 1405 carburetor fits?

This is pretty sure to be the case.

This off road needle kit is meant for the 1403 carburetor, right?

Will come back to this later, I still have to put it in the carb and try it out.

Fit a 1406 with these?

It is the same carburetor that I have them on. It may also be necessary to tune your float level once you have reset your float level.

The truck is running well since I put the carb back on stock

A piece of fuel line is put in front of the hole. Getting this to work wasn't an easy task. There was no matter what I did to set the floats, the carb was always starved of The way floats are set isn't hard, but I could be doing something wrong. The truck is running well since I put the carb back on stock. I think the best way to block the passage between bowls would be to put a piece of fuel line in front of the passage The only modification I've made to this carb so far is the road mod.

An Edelbrock carburetor on my Chevy 355 engine would be a great upgrade for my off-road Jeep. We blocked off the overflow tunnel between the floats as well, which has improved the efficiency of the whole system.

This is the wrong part for what I do

A total waste of time. Edelbrock tech support told me these are designed to be "rock bouncers". I was not expecting to have to use them for off camber situations.

There are still problems, but they haven't been as severe as they were

With this kit, I hope to minimize stalling on my Edelbrock carburetor when I corner. It's still a problem, but it's not as bad as it used to be.

The difference offroad hasn't been noticeable since I have been holding it at crazy angles before without it stalling. Even so, I figured I'd buy it for the price.
