What kind of oil is provided for the filter in this product?

Filtering is done using a dry process. It is not necessary to use oil.

If this intake is positioned above the mechanical fan of the 2500 HD 6, then yes. The electric fan is only available on models with electric fans, right?

You can run the intake at the same location as your stock intake, if the fan is clear of it.

Can you tell me the tube's diameter? Is there an output valve on the valve cover for the PCV?

There is something seriously wrong with this item

It is mounted on my 2011 GMC Sierra 2500HD. I really don't like it. It was also noticeably louder and had a better throttle response than the 6 liter. It is not a good idea to leave the hood up when the engine is running and there are kids or small animals They're all going to be pulled up off the ground by this thing and suddenly your wife starts screaming at you and then you'll be looking like Even so, the product works just as well and has a good fit as the more expensive products.

The works are great, and the looks are fantastic

Installation was easy, but the instructions are not clear, I installed it on a 2011 2500hd silverado and it sounds great. I paired it with a magnaflow exhaust and I cannot tell if it helped mileage at all. There is no mileage to be had from this truck. I am very happy with it, and I would recommend it to my friends.

A WRONG PRODUCT has been shipped

I ordered this intake for my 2013 Chevy 2500HD and when it arrived I had a completely different intake that is for a 6 foot truck. Images on this page of the Ford V10 engine and intake do not look like what is on Furthermore, it doesn't fit my truck since it has a downward slope.

This is a good fit. I like the way this looks. The filter keeps falling off my truck after having it on less than 2 months. A performance or mileage gain is not observed. The filter I am using is the stock one.
