Questions & Answers

I have a 2016 charger 3 and am wondering if this charger will fit. Does 6L matter?

There is no problem fitting it. Thank you, Ed

Is there an increase in performance and aggressive sound with a V6?

I have this intake on my 2014 Chrysler 300C V-8 and I have only experienced it from my personal experience I installed the 6 and it really made a difference in throttle response and sound, especially at 4000 rpm and higher. Power and 0 of the passing test As a result of my 60 time improving dramatically, my V-max has increased as well While the 6 sounds and feels like a muscle car, it still gets good highway gas mileage.

Can you tell me if this kit will fit my 2014 Challenger SXT and if it comes with everything to install it?

My 2013 Challenger will look great with this set-up. Everything you need is included in the kit. In less than 30 minutes, I had it installed. It is exactly what I was looking for.

I was surprised to see mine had a bubble when I got it, but now it What's the reason?

Purchased a new one and have not had any issues.

Why a Cold Air Intake System Isn't Really Cool
3/5

I am very happy with the sound quality and the ease with which the installation was complete. Additionally, a rough calculation concerning the surface area of the stock versus the volume of the stock is included. As seen in the K&D There is approximately 86 sq. feet of stock indicated in the N filter. You may insert. This is a joint effort with the K&L A surface area of 192 square miles is located in the N. You may insert. More than twice as much. The real problem I noticed with this Cold Air Intake system compared with some of the others (including stock which draws all its air from the underside of the car) is that this system does not insulate the filter head from the heat of the liquid coolant reservoir located directly It is illustrated by just how close the filter is to the reservoir in everyone's installation pictures. The chrome intake runner to the engine air inlet absorbs heat from the engine compartment, and since it is made of metal, it is extremely sophisticated for transferring that heat. A scan tool was connected to the OBD II connector, and I read the intake air temp sensor and compared their readings with the outside air temperature found on the dashboard According to what I observed, there are several things to consider. The stock system is a degree cooler at highway speeds on a 70 degF day both systems are very close at highway speeds About 9 degrees Fahrenheit more than ambient is maintained in both systems. The system starts building up heat faster than stock once you turn down the speed and the intake air starts flowing again once it is below 40mph and therefore in stop and go traffic. The system takes longer to cool down once the vehicle speed increases and the intake air flows The system is about 5 to 10 degrees hotter than stock after I come off the highway and drive the remaining 5 miles to my house at about 30 mph. As a result, open the hood and check the temperature of the filter head and chrome runner. They both seem to be quite hot, especially since the filter head is near Certain mods use heat reflective materials to drastically lower these temperatures and I understand there are others out there that can do this However, let's hope that K&L are able to help Upon inspecting this Dodge 3, N will take note of the location of the filter head next to the coolant reservoir. A new design was created that will insulate the 6L application more effectively and allow it to run cooler than stock in any environment.

Do not be intimidated by other people
5/5

There is not an absolute need for this product, but if you are looking for something fun, relatively easy and relatively cheap, this may be for you. It is advertised to increase horsepower, but I am unable to verify it. there is a more fluid response when I press the gas pedal, but I could simply be suffering from the placebo effect. It is advertised to change the sound of your engine, and I can attest to that claim. The upgrade to your engine hood is certainly an aesthetic one. Nearly every product that came with this had a warranty It was very clear and easy to follow. There is only one complaint I have with the instructions they do not specify how and what type of nuts and bolts to use during various stages. There were a few hiccups installing the hardware since it says "with the supplied hardware", but this will not cause the entire installation process to become derail. For car enthusiasts who are looking to do an affordable first project under the hood, I highly recommend this product.

The 2020 Dodge Charger GT is compatible with this part
5/5

From when the door opened to when it was installed in the car it took about 35 minutes There is a 40-minute wait. As others have reported, it does not make the car loud when it starts up, but during acceleration I hear more of what I was looking for. In order to amplify that sound, I will have to get an exhaust. However, a difference has been noticed in my performance. Although the dull grey badge is not to my liking, I will probably put the red and orange one on the tube. It's better to just watch it on YouTube, since the instructions are awful.

The air intake of the Chrysler 300's 2017 model year is manufactured by K&N
5/5

Despite its size it looks and sounds very nice. As you can see from the picture it fits perfectly under your hood, and it is very easy to install. I installed it in an hour in the garage at a slow rate of speed and was not too difficult to do. It would be nice if the print in the instruction manual was a little larger because as I get older, my eyesight has gotten worse and smaller print is annoying. However, you can't go wrong with a K&N In the past three years I have had three different ones on different vehicles, and each time the price has been well worth it. I tried cheap once, and the cheap tubing bent usually after a few minutes. Let's just get this K & D and save ourselves the trouble Firstly, let me state.

I just can't get over how SWEETTTTTTTTT is! Which is the best place for me to start? My first muscle car has been a dream come true for me and I instantly fell in love with it's power
5/5

However, I knew it still had more to offer, so I began doing research on ways to increase it's speed. In order to change my cold air intake, I first needed to replace the filter. I admit that I was so excited to try it on, and it did not let me down! My horsepower increased as a result of this, and the sound is incredible as well. Those who are interested in doing the same should definitely check out this site!.

The speed of the program has been improved
5/5

My step-by-step instructions were helpful, but I had to call them to make certain it was put together correctly. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Pictures on the manual are not very good. I still have the stock mufflers on my 2018 v6 Challenger. noticed that you make a louder exhaust sound as you accelerate, but it isn't really that irritating. In addition to making my vehicle more responsive, I would also recommend getting all the parts, including the ones shown on the manual, before you start working on it. In the beginning, I did not have a spacer, but K&M sent one As a customer service representative.

The sound is fantastic, and the accuracy has increased
5/5

A friend of mine got this for her Chrysler 300C 3. I installed it on her vehicle. I just listened to it and the sound is low, but definitely growling. We are waiting to see how it affects gas mileage because there is a reduction in acceleration lag. It was a quick and easy installation, provided that you followed the instructions properly. When I tried to install the air flow sensor with the tube on, it was very difficult. Taking the tube off and installing the air flow sensor which could be seen inside made it a quick 2 minute It sounds and performs so good. I love it.

I love it! I pondered this for a long time before I decided to try it
5/5

Therefore, I spent the money, the install was simple, and what a difference! It sounds great and you can feel the increased pull from the horse power as soon as you turn it on. It is a good decision that I bought!.
