The product is in my wife's 2003 Honda CRV, and after using it for several months, she is very pleased with it In our opinion, it is A commuter car like hers is used for commuting to and from work. This was not an attempt to "hop-around" Our small CRV is able to "up" but get more response because it has a 4cyl automatic transmission. It does seem to work better At highway speeds, the effect is most noticeable. As well, the fuel economy has improved a bit, which my wife noticed on her own (I didn't tell her about it!). A bit of a louder sound can also be heard. The only time you step on it is when you step on it. After removing bulky stock components, there is much more space in the engine compartment after the bulky stock components are removed. Moreover, Amazon has an incredible price here - you won't find a better deal anywhere else It was impossible for any retailer around where I live to compete. Only gripe I have is that the instructions & examples are not as clear as they should be I was not pleased with the photos & it was difficult to read There was a lack of As it fits multiple vehicles, it can be used on a wide range of vehicles As a result, they tend to generalize & We will go over each step in detail. Getting cheap guys from here is a bad idea. Remove Emission Hoses with extreme caution - they can break very easily. Where to find them and how to find them. It is difficult to tell what the photos look like due to the tiny size A vague description of the project During the installation of a new valve, I broke a plastic stem that originally cost $150. As far as I understood it, it was outlined and described in the article I was in the wrong picture, not the lousy One of the Honda dealer's parts guys says K&N is only installed when customers buy that part It's all in the I think the pictures/instructions would have been half as clear if the instructions had been half as detailed -* I would have been able to put it together in under 5 minutes! This would have been a 5 if not for those two factors A product that deserves a star.
I purchased this K&D A N kit was supposed to fit on my 2005 Honda CRV, but the tube connecting it to the throttle body did not Upon inspection of my 2005 Honda CRV, the throttle body is angled about 9 degrees forward. Having now learned what to look for, I matched the tube position to that on my son's 04 Honda CRV, and to his delight, it was a go. Both the 04 and 05 CRV engines are the same size. After starting it up two hours later, we went down the hill to warm the engine and then back up to get it going. Approximately 15 mph down the road, I stepped the pedal and was amazed by the acceleration! The car used to be my wife's and the only thing I did to it was install a Borla exhaust system when we bought it from the dealer. A later upgrade of the intake end is planned. In excellent condition but in need of some TLC, I found this 2005 Honda CRV. As a result, I've replaced the stock exhaust with a Borla and ordered a K&N air filter from Amazon In the space of 69 characters Reviews of the 0015TR system installed on a Honda CRV 2005 by one reviewer. Please let me know if this fits!.
Installation was easy and the product is of high quality.
I have noticed a dramatic increase in acceleration since I started using it. As well as having more power, it is much smaller!.
During acceleration, you can definitely hear a noticeable difference in the sound of the intake. Embedding a check engine light (CEL) into my car turned out to be an expensive pain in the hind quarters. After replacing everything with the intake ( IRV, bypass valve, manifold, etc. ) with a K&N air filter, I went back to the factory air box. Filter that can be re-used year after year. Now that CEL is gone, we can move forward. Don't waste money on the air box and buy the round filter for $60 instead.
This and that In my experience, the only car-related product I have ever used is an air filter. As a result of the filter, the car has a little more power and the muffler sounds more profound. It really doesn't seem to have made a noticeable difference in gas mileage. The reason I bought it was because I didn't like the stock air filter in my RSX, and I needed to replace my air filter. all, a very good product that I would recommend.
Now that VTEC is in place, it sounds good.
