K&M is one of my favorite bands The fuel filter for my 2007 Crown Vic came from N products. It was easy to install (with the aid of a tool) and it fit perfect. There has never been a study taken on the efficiency of fuel filters in normal cars. Motorcraft is Ford OEM, so you can't go wrong with that part. K&T really is a great company, and I gave the extra money to keep it going If you purchase either one, you will be A 10-digit number If you have one, jack up the passenger side of the car for 15 minutes. The curb behind my rear tire gave me ample room to scramble under the passenger wheel well after backing up. There is a small amount of gas to be aware of, so wear gloves and protective eyewear. My intention is to replace it every 30k now that I have done it.
Amazon said it would fit my truck, but it wasn't close to fitting.

Once I took the old one off and received the new one, I noticed that the inlet and outlet tubes were smaller than the old ones from the 2004 Explorer and went online to verify it wasn't a misprinted one but nope, it was the exact one I had ordered. I started my truck, looked underneath the truck, and gas was flowing everywhere, so I turned it off. It will be a K&N filter tube size of 3/8 and an OEM filter tube size of 3/8 5/16 was the size of the filter they sent me. My problem was resolved after taking my old filter to my local Advanced Auto to make sure it was a match this time around. The parts I purchased from Amazon were good, but this was a pricey item that caused me to lose sleep over.
Make sure you know what you're buying! No doubt, it's a good filter, there is nothing wrong with it, but I only gave it three stars because it doesn't come with retention clips, which is why K&N fuel filters are not included If K&N didn't include a pair of retention clips, they should know that when you replace a fuel filter, you can't use the same clips for safety reasons, and most of the time when you replace the fuel filter, those clips will break anyway when they have been removed. The filter does not come with retainer clips, it is a cheap accessory.

The fuel filter worked fine, but if it had come with clips I would have given it five stars, but the original clips weren't broken so it wasn't that big of a The fuel filters I use on all of my old cars are K&N, as they provide a better fuel flow and are less expensive. bought a k and n fuel filter and it came with clips too, anyway I installed it on my 98 grand marquis and the car started much more quickly. nice to see how something so simple like a fuel filter can solve problems such as those.
The items fit my 2005 Ford F150 extended cab, 4, without any modifications. The V8 has a 6L displacement. A 2006 Ford F150 SUPERCAB with the 4WD would not fit this. The V8 has six cylinders.
