It's my bad. Besides, I'm not a scientist or anything like that. My job on weekends is just to grease monkey. I am able to use this filter on my 2004 Nissan
My 04 Nissan Xterra was an ideal fit for this part. There are standard ends to this filter that rubber hoses slip over and then clamp onto. As for the filter itself, it fit nicely in the frame clamp.

The PF - The Nissan 1100 is a perfect fit for the Xterras and Frontiers up to 2004 (under the hood) are easiest to install, but do not underestimate the time it takes if the filter has never been changed and the vehicle has at least 150,000 miles. It takes longer than you might think for the installation to be completed. In front of the air filter, underneath on the passenger side, Nissan engineers installed (what I call) a faceplate which you will need to remove with a 10 mm rachet before you can do anything else. It is expected that several doses of PB Blaster will be required to eradicate them completely. Once your fuel fuse is removed, pull the fuse underneath your dash to the left of your wheel (after starting and running your car/truck) to drain as much fuel as To loosen the phillips head screw clamps on the inbound and outbound fuel lines, you will need to jack up the vehicle on the passenger side of the vehicle to give yourself some work space. Use at least one jack stand to support the jack. It may be necessary to "cut" the outbound line in order to remove it. Cutting the inbound line would be difficult due to its very short length and remote attachment, so cutting it would be a difficult task. The small, standard "hex head/flat screwdriver" clamps are better to use instead of these phillips clamps for easier installation. Once the old filter has been removed, zap it with PB Blaster to loosen the large center clamp. Your old filter should be separated from your new one by sliding it off. Be sure the large center clamp is tightened but not so tightly that it won't allow it to rotate so there is a good fitting to the faceplate of the new filter. Your hose clamps need to be installed and tightened. Replace the faceplate (grease the screw threads) and replace the fuel fuse to complete your repair.
I & K I decided to go with a N fuel filter since this brand is trusted, so I hoped it would be an excellent In my research into the filtration media in various brands, I didn't find a lot of technical information in all brands except K&N This is the write up by K&A With a media and filter construction that is of N's quality and efficiency, they are well suited to their purpose. It is hard to believe that by the time I received this item, the return period had passed, although you can't return something that has been contaminated with gasoline? Nonetheless, I was having difficulty getting the inlet side to seal, which led me to believe that the hose barb had a defect at the time? Luckily, I had on hand a WIX 33310 which is their equivalent, which made the job go smoothly the first time around! *K & D This time must be a bad N batch? My 2001 Nissan frontier with 230,000 miles is completely suited for this oil and fuel filter set, and I am replacing the stock original fuel filter with this model. I don't really care about it. The only thing you have to do is remove the fuel pump fuse and start your car to depressurize the fuel line, it will stall out while you're that way. It still has a little gas, but not a lot. You can use a towel to wipe down the coils. Replace the fuse and begin. I am happy it is metal and not A note on fuel economy will be provided.
There was nothing I liked better about this fuel filter than the small size. This is something my friend also uses when building a custom fuel system. The filter for my Nissan Xterra from this site is great. I bought it today. The world's most popular cereal is in fact like most cereals We offer high quality products. Even though the filter is a bit out of place on my car, this was an easy installation, with arrows clearly informing where the inlet and outlet flows go. We were very pleased with this product, and we saved money not having to pay parts store prices.
