Is it possible to use the car for daily project work without experiencing any problems?

I don't really understand what you mean There was only one issue with this, and that was its placement, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with a daily calendar.

Can you tell me the size of the inlet?

The fit is easy for 1/2 to 3/4 in diameter. The outer ring should be at least an inch thick.

It's not unusual for me to abuse this filter until it breaks You can direct connect it to the crank case cover of the small engine inverter generator that you have. Then I clean it with K&D You only have to use the N filter recharger kit every six months.

A filter was included with this item and it was used for my air compressor on board. There is no problem with the system for that purpose. My compressor will remain dirt-free with this filter. Neither this nor anything similar to it would ever be a PCV breather for me. It will not be appreciated by your engine, I assure you.

This is excellent! I am very pleased with this! With the stock generator and oil refill tower, it collides with the right side hose from the shroud to the heater box on a '71 Super 1600CC DP engine

This is meant to replace the filter that came with my Big Air Kit for my 2019 Kawasaki Vaquero aftermarket model. It arrived with a K&N filter replacement kit. They have their kit with them, N (junk). The Breather I put on the backside of the engine, where the factory system was, fits perfectly, and the worm gear clamp that comes with it is top quality. You will be very pleased with the quality and performance of this Breather if you purchase it.

would not call it a bad product, but it is not top of the line. It does what it's supposed to and is perfect otherwise, but feels cheap and cheaply made when compared to some other brands.

I can tell you that it fits my b20b perfectly, so I would assume it is the same for b16/17/18. This item would be a good recommendation. It seems to be made of high-quality.
