CLEANER FOR THE AIR

Questions & Answers

On my 2015 F250 with the 6.8L engine, I can't find the cabin filter. Where is the #7 diesel engine?

There is no cabin filter in my 2015 Ford F250 Lariat. If you do, it'll be on the backside of the glove box.

This would work on a 2016 Ford F-250 6. 7 diesel?

Yes, this will work for all six. There are seven diesel engines in this fleet. You'll also need the Motorcraft FA1909 Air Filter Assembly, which is a foam air cleaner. It is important to note that the FA 1909 filter does not need to be replaced every time the FA 1902 filter is changed.

Is this something that would work on a 2015 6? 7 f250?

Yes, FA- The 1902 fits a 2015 F250 6.

What happens to the filter when it's no longer needed? I looked in the owner's manual under the dash, but it didn't say where to put it. ?

The filter cabin for the 2011 F250 is located on the left side of the hood, in a black casing.

READ. Filter by GoOD, with a nice flow. It's just that my 2013 6. is the source of all the bs. 7 power strokes have been removed and the engine has been fine-tuned. I ran this stock filter because my buddy has the same truck with the same pipe and tune as me, except his truck is a 2012 and he paid $100+ for a reusable aftermarket air filter. I OWN and operate a truck fleet, and we have a filter flow booth that we use to clean and inspect filter flow. So. The stock's and k's configurations The only difference between them is the material they're made of. We put them both in the filter booth, the stock filter being brand new and the k filter being used for the first time. n had been used, but it had been cleaned and the oil applied perfectly according to the directions. We've been mechanics and racers for years, so we know what we're doing. So, the stock filter pumped out 623 gallons of water. 7 cfm through a 3 inch diameter tube at 71 degrees with no pleat movement. br>The k is a letter that begins with the letter k and ends with the letter A total of 593 gallons of water passed through the n filter. 7 cfm through a 3 inch diameter tube at 71 degrees with no pleat movement. With a higher cfm, the pleats of both filters began to collect. So, for the next test, we put the stock filter in his truck and drove it for 5000 miles on the same route to and from work, which was about 72 miles per day. It was removed, and the flow rate increased to 594. We installed the k in number seven. Then I did the same mileage, removed it, and the flow rate was 398. So that's number six. We also noticed that the stock filter was releasing larger particles, which were caught in the lower part of the air box. The letter k Everything was gathered while being oiled. This is where the k came from. At 5000 miles, you're more restricted. In addition, the truck had a check engine light, which I will explain in a moment. We both noticed that the air duct on the clean air side was spotless after we removed the stock filter; there was no bs, just the plain fact. Following the removal of the k, inspect the clean air side of the duct. The air duct and the mass air flow sensor were covered in an oily, black residue. This explains why his engine light came on after he ran the k. We are not endorsing anyone's air filters or working for Ford; we simply wanted to see if the hype was true. Now we believe it. We also noticed something interesting when we cleaned the k The material used to make the filter had frayed for the second time, and we could pull it loose with our fingernails. So that was the end of our test. When the filter was clean, it flowed less than the OEM filter, and it flowed even less after 5000 miles. I am convinced that oil is effective at collecting particulates, but that it is also a significant problem. If you don't completely remove all of the oil and dirt from the knuckle, the knuckle will rust. After reoiling and reinstalling the cleaner, it dissolves the oil and grime, allowing it to flow through the filter and be sucked into the intake. Growing up, I was constantly reminded that k I completely disagree with you that the n was the best high-flow filter ever made and that it adequately protected your engine. Guys are claiming that they get better mpg and more power. There isn't a chance in hell. Their wishful thinking, I believe, stems from the price of the filter.

Mororcraft OEM quality at its best! This is fantastic! What else can I say except that it's everything I expected from a Motorcraft OEM part, and at $20, it's a bargain compared to the dealer's price, and it arrived quickly with PRIME
5/5

On your Ford diesels, avoid using aftermarket junk filters such as NAPA or other chinese knockoff brands. Original Motorcraft filters are always worth a few dollars more. Believe me when I say that you will thank yourself later!.

This is an excellent substitute
5/5

Although this is a good factory replacement, the price seems to fluctuate. It does its job and collects dust; however, in dusty environments, it does not last as long. It's simple to replace the air box; simply undo the four latches that keep it closed and wiggle out the old one. After replacing my air filter so frequently, I finally decided to invest in a K. N air filter that can be washed. I bought a reusable one for the price of two new ones. These factory air filters, on the other hand, will last a long time in your truck. Due to the fact that I only drive on dirt roads and live in the mountains, I change my filter more frequently than most people.

Air filter made by Ford Motorcraft
5/5

I get my oil changed at the Ford quick lane and don't mind paying for it. br>However, it's far too easy to buy this air filter and save over $50 by doing so. br>As a result, they replace the oil, and I replace the air filter. A cheap air filter can turn into a nightmare if it fails, and you can't go wrong with Ford Motorcraft parts.

Better packaging is required for Filter
4/5

It was a good OEM Motorcraft product, but it only came in a plastic bag from Amazon. The filter is in a cardboard box that isn't strong enough to protect it during transportation. One end of the box was crushed, and the flap was torn. The damage, thankfully, does not appear to be severe. With pressure and heat from the engine, the seal should seat.

Five out of five stars

At a great price and with quick shipping, this is exactly what it should be! Thanks! If you've got a Superduty with a 6 cylinder engine, you're in luck. This is the filter for you if you have a 7L tank. To ensure that all air going to the engine must pass through the filter, I apply a light coat of grease to the upper and lower sealing surfaces. Both fuel filters should be replaced every 12K miles, as they are inexpensive and keep the vehicle clean on the inside.

An OEM Motorcraft engine air filter is available at a great price
5/5

Amazon charges $20 for a book vs. $20 for a book from a bookstore. At a nearby auto parts store, it'll set you back $25. The cost of replacing the air filter at the local Ford dealer was $90. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete the task on your own. To be honest, I wasn't convinced that a genuine Motorcraft OEM air filter could be found for $20 on Amazon. It's exactly the same as what a dealer would put in. It's not an issue.

Genuine OEM Part at a Fraction of the Aftermarket Price When I went to a local auto parts store to look for a filter element, I was shocked to find that even their house brands cost $49 - $59
5/5

This is an original Ford FoMoCo component - the same one that was installed by my dealer during a previous service - for half of the price Without a doubt, the most effective solution.
