7. has never been attempted I attempted 6K, but only ran 5K. Everything seemed to be fine.
The letter K in this case N item (item PS-) China produces the 1003. If I had known it was made in China, I would not have purchased it; there are many high-quality filters made in the United States that cost less.

cyl. This is a true bargain! For owners of a 1996 Toyota Camry LE, there are a variety of oil filters to choose from, with prices ranging from $2 to $15. Every one of them is excellent. Others are superior to others. This four-dollar PS- The best is 1003 Performance/Silver (formerly PRO SERIES). Please take a look at the second image from the left, which Amazon has posted here, to see what a beautifully crafted filter this is! The filter is said to trap 99% of dirt particles as small as 10 to 15 microns
This is a fantastic filter. I do a lot of automotive repair, and I use this filter in my 97 Camry. I have three Toyota vehicles in my family, and I work on three different Toyota vehicles. I was almost exclusively using Denso oil filters, but after reading so many positive reviews about this K, I decided to give it a try. I pressed the trigger on the N filter. I'm not going to use any other filter on my 97 Camry from now on because I love it so much. The filter allows for higher flow rates with less oil restriction, and I've noticed a slight improvement in acceleration and throttle response on my car since installing it. Because I do the majority of my driving on the highway at 70 mph, I needed a filter that would provide excellent filtration while generating minimal drag. A rolled O-ring is used to construct the filter. I like the ring-type gasket, and there have been no leaks so far. Also, the oil is PERFECTLY CLEAN. I use Mobil 1 full synthetic and work out for 8 hours every day. As a point of reference, 10,000 mile drain intervals. K& N produces some excellent products; I also use their high-flow air filters, which are equally effective. You won't find a better oil filter for $7 on the market, given the performance it provides. This book comes highly recommended.
On both of my cars, I have N Pro filters. The rubber seal and holes are covered in a clear plastic film, which keeps them clean and rust-free. This is great for when you buy a bunch of them and they'll sit on the garage shelf for a while; the price here is the best I've seen, and I just bought four! Once a year (roughly 7 months), I change my oil. I won't need to buy another car until 2023 because it has accumulated 8K miles. Amazon is to be commended.
I only used it ONCE on a 2002 Toyota Celica, and it worked flawlessly, with no leaks after 3000 miles, so I still give it five stars. br>br>However, I stopped using them after a number of my friends experienced problems and leaks with K. N oil filters (commonly found on motorcycles). They make fantastic air filters, but their oil filters are frequently subpar. So. I didn't have a bad experience with KN oil filters, but for the price, I'd recommend going with a different brand that has more experience with oil filters (I feel like we're mostly paying for a logo on KN oil filters).
I believe that filters with round O ring type gaskets prevent leaks better than heavy duty cans with flat gaskets that extend slightly beyond the base. To prevent dry starts, it has a thick spring inside as well as an anti-drainback insert. It's a fantastic value for the money, and it outperforms other well-known brands. With the big name filters, I've had leaks and dry starts.
I purchased this oil filter in order to perform an oil change on my vehicle (a 2004 Scion xA). 1NZFE Engine), and the unit I received failed to seal properly on a clean engine oil filter mating surface (bottom of the engine block). Since I've had the car (since 2004), I've changed the oil countless times on my own. My guess is that the seal was faulty due to the gasket's shape. It's a semi-circular gasket instead of a flat one. It's a D shape, not an H shape, that mates against the engine. I have no doubts about the product's quality, but it did not work for my application. I wouldn't recommend it, and I won't be buying it again.

What can you say about it? It's a filter. I usually buy another brand, but I decided to go with these because of the name brand. I use Synthetic blend oil in my daily commuter, which has 280,000 miles on it, and so far everything has worked out well. The filter appears to be well constructed, and the oil appears to be clean, indicating that it is performing its function. Unless the price rises to the point where it is more expensive than other brands, I will most likely purchase again.
