Having to wait for the engine to cool down before starting it again required me to push it aside
5/5

After a long restoration process, I managed to put my 67 GTO on the road. My car was the star of a car show about ten miles from my house. It caused me great disappointment and embarrassment when I pulled up to the front entrance only to find the car stuck due to a Having to wait for the engine to cool down before starting it again required me to push it aside. Several people helped me come up with ideas about how to address this, the most common of which involved I thought this product would be creative, so I bought it to try to solve downside is that if you participate in judging events, an anal judge will lower the rating of the car because this item is not original to the vehicle. If I wanted to, I could uninstall the plugin and install it at each event, but I don't think I'd like to be bothered with Therefore, I assume I will deduct the amount.

Provides protection against extreme heat for critical engine parts
5/5

Racing off-road with HP is the way to go In the winter, road heat protection is essential. There has never been a product from Heatshield Products that has failed to deliver on its promises. The hoses, which run from the tank to the pump or oil cooler up front of the Jeep JK, protect two low pressure return and feed hoses to a PSC Motorsports hydraulic assisted steering fluid reservoir. Since the hoses travel directly over the plug and socket bank on the pssgr side, it is impossible to get them to bend. Intake manifold and exhaust manifold are within This served as sleeve for the hoses in order to keep them protected over time from the heat. As a final step, I place HP adhesive reflection matting on the bottom of my fluid reservoir. It is not cheap, but I am willing to pay for my vehicle to benefit from.

It took no time at all and no part was needed
5/5

The Suzuki Samurai I have was bought in 1987. I mostly use it for off-road The family and I were in the Eastern Washington (hot, dry, desert mountains) a few months ago. While climbing a very steep hill, we got vapor locked. Although the brakes were depressed, Sammy remained in a slipping motion every few minutes or so despite the steep and slick hill. Our winch was powered by battery power, so it was a scramble but we got down backward. My quest to cure the vapor lock was sparked by that experience. The following are the three things I did. 1 - I have re/ By routing my gas line away from the engine as far as I could, I avoided damaging it. A few minutes and no parts were needed, so it was quick and easy. 2.
These heat shields have been installed. It's going to be a pain to cover all the gas lines in the engine compartment with two sets. 3. /br> Genright hood louvres (3 piece long set) were installed. My assumption was that the heatshields would allow the heat to pass through them as the heat rose up from the engine (rather than being absorbed into the gas line) and the vents would let the heat As you may be aware, I have not reviewed As soon as I set up the same circumstances that led to the vapor lock, I got it to happen. However, I have not experienced any problems since then. I believe the heatshields were an integral, necessary part of the solution, while the hood louvres made the biggest difference. This is a highly recommended book!.

This heat shield blocks the sun
4/5

The ECM is a part of a 4wd project truck, and its wiring harness comes over from the engine rear and then hits it where it's mounted under the hood on the driver's side fender well, and it feeds my ECM from under there. With a limited space to allow for mounts or spacing, the mounting or spacing can't be done. Due to the driver side exhaust manifold (V8), the wiring harness is exposed to radiated heat. I wanted to reduce this exposure and protect the wiring harness. Among the options available for that is this.

The stitching on this shirt is uneven and of really poor quality
3/5

This product has whiskers along the edges, giving it a poor quality. According to the ad photo, the sleeve appears clean on the outside but there are material whiskers along both edges, giving the sleeve an aged appearance. The scissors I used were for trimming the edges. There is a lot of inconsistency in the direction and stitches of the stitching. It's not even close to being possible to use this supposed 1/2" heat pipe on anything larger than 1/2". Whenever I fit it on a battery cable that is 3/8" diameter, it barely fits. Do not even try using it on anything with curves as you will probably wind up with vinyl that just keeps coming apart. If it's 3/8" or 1/4" and straight then that might work as well. I regret spending my money on this.

We're no longer in the heat
5/5

Looks like it's doing what it's supposed to. I am satisfied with how well it works on my V8 Jeep Wrangler. It had gotten pretty hot around some wires and hoses. I am happy that this worked. Although it is a little more expensive than I think it should be, it works perfectly well.

The fit of the pants is excellent
5/5

It was used by me on my race car. The fit of the pants is excellent. A fuel line rupture caused vapor lock on my race car, so this was used to correct the problem.
