The sound is great. This is a quiet car at idle, but has just the right level of noise under acceleration. However, unless you plan to store the ball when not in use, it will not work with a gooseneck bed mount hitch system. You cross the pipe for the driver's side of the flip ball right where the ball enters the receptacle if you have a flip ball. Hide cannot be used with the hitch but you can use the hitch. If Flowmaster fixes this, maybe this will be fixed.
Deep and smooth. I was pleasantly surprised by how complete and well put together this kit was. Clearly marked parts with clear instructions come with each item. It is the most difficult part to remove the factory system. Connecting the kit to the factory system is behind the small resonator. In order to remove the old pipe, you will need to cut it just behind the rear axle unless you have a lift. Normally this system would not have sufficient clearance to clear the ground. The sound, however, The outside sounds nice, much deeper than the factory unit it has a nice growl as well. By no means does it encroach on your privacy. The dead will not be awoken or the earth will not be shook. No one will be appalled at you if you pull into (idle into) the driveway at 2 am. The sound is audible inside the car, but it is not annoying. The radio does not have to be turned up to hear it, and there is no annoying drone. It is zero. I am using a heavy foot, so there is no real change in mileage, but it does seem to have a little more torque off the line. Using these tools In addition to 15mm deep sockets and ratchets, 11 mm chrome tips, screw drivers (2), and a sawzall for cutting the old system, there is a set of tools necessary to remove it. The number of people is 2. I spent five hours on it.
The sound is awesome! My F250 was a much better vehicle with this added accessory. However, I only gained a few miles per gallon. It works fine with the air intake I recently I did not have any problems with installation Having an additional pair of hands was very helpful.
The power of.
Keep this kit away from children. Muffler is the only part made of stainless steel. I already have rust on my tips and they're starting to rust. There have been about 2 months since the system has been functioning. My next step will be to rip it off and take it to an exhaust shop, where the quality will be much better.
