SLP is the number to dial. The following is also mentioned on the website. Fitments: Corvette C6 - Chevrolet Corvette C6 - Chevrolet Corvette C6 - Chevrolet Corvette C6 - Chevrolet Cor 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 are the years in which the company was founded.
The passenger's side of the vehicle has been flipped over. To remove the muffler, the axle pipe may need to be cut off. It can be avoided with the help of two sets of experienced hands: "Unscrew the four transmission mount bolts and have a second person pry the transmission slightly to the driver's side."
Unfortunately, the Loudmouth II exhaust system for the Z06 C6 Vettes does not appear to be manufactured by SLP, according to what I've read. Only the base C6 Vettes can use the 37077 and 31078. It's not a bad idea to give SLP a call at 1-866-SLP-NOW. 855- 757- To see if this exhaust is available for the Z06, call (7373). It's possible that I'm mistaken. I got a good deal on Amazon, and it was delivered right to the performance shop. If it will fit the Z06, I would recommend this exhaust. I hope this has been of assistance. Best of luck!
This exhaust is compatible with models from 2005 to the present. Only base Corvette models from 2008 are available. Part numbers 32000 and 32001 on the SLP (Edit: 32003) is for the 2009-2010 academic year. 2013
Selected User Reviews For SLP Performance Parts 31078 2005-2008 Corvette C6 Loud Mouth II Axle Back Exhaust System
It's extremely loud, there are a lot of drones, it's obnoxious, and the interior is very boomy. It was well-packaged, with everything labeled P (passenger side) or D (driver's side) as appropriate. All of the parts came together nicely and fit well, making installation relatively simple. I wouldn't recommend this exhaust if you drive your Corvette every day or have even the slightest fear of drone, but it's great for everything else. There was a lot of noise and a lot of rowdiness going on.
This arrived quickly, was well packaged, and appears to be of good quality, especially for the price; I installed it today and was about to return to the corvette shop to have it removed. At 65- It's way too loud to be traveling at 70 mph. It's not a drone vibration, but the sound of exhaust. This is in 6th gear on a manual transmission. I'll make an effort to adjust. I was nervous the first time I came to a stop next to a police car at a light. This is also true for the Loudmouth 2.
For my 2005 Corvette, I purchased this. It's simple to install if you have access to a car lift. To get the old muffler and exhaust pipe out of the car, we had to cut them apart with a reciprocating saw, but this was a simple task. br>br>At idle and when you accelerate, the rumble is incredible. The exhaust is easy to hear in the car with the windows up and the stereo turned down low during normal driving, but it becomes quite loud during acceleration, drowning out the stereo. You'll love this exhaust system if you like that kind of thing.
They were on backorder at SLP, and they were nearly impossible to come by at the time, so I was surprised to see them on Amazon. It even cost me $100 less than what the local performance shops wanted. br>br>The Corvette's stock exhaust was barely audible. The car was jolted awake by the SLP Loud Mouth II. It has the sound of a sports car without being overpowering. I'm digging the car's current deep rumble and drone. It won't be so loud that it attracts extra police attention (as if Corvettes don't have enough of that already). The original Loud Mouth has a lot more volume. Most Corvette owners will be satisfied with the Loud Mouth II, but I also included a K. After installing both of these items, I had the car retuned. Although there is a minor increase in HP, this is not why I bought it. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this product, in my opinion.
The pipes are perfectly aligned, and the sound is incredible. At a standstill, it's quite throaty. When you take off, it makes a bellowing sound, but while driving, it only makes a throaty sound.
It's a perfect fit and a fantastic sound!.
I'm not sure what's going on here. It's not as loud as it appears. The design, on the other hand, made me think of NASCAR. It wasn't noticeably louder than my previous mufflers. At the very least, I'm aware that it's more open.
