On the wife's 2011 SS, it was just installed. Getting on was not difficult. Cutting off the old mufflers is a pain, but that will always be the case. The process of installation was relatively painless. The sound was a bigger letdown for us. I loved having a loud mouth 1 in my 2000 Trans Am and a loud mouth 2 in my 2002 WS6. This has a unique sound to it, almost whistle-like. By far, the car sounds better than it did before, when it was as quiet as a church mouse, which irritated both of us. Our previous 2013 SS had the factory-installed performance exhaust, which sounded much nicer than this one.
My Camaro SS is a 2010 model, and the factory mufflers completely silenced the guttural sound. It's a pony with a lot of ability to perform. Who is the one who does it? The distinct difference was undeniably satisfying as soon as the Loud Mouths were installed by the good guys at Meineke. Around 3000 to 4000 RPM, the pipes will growl with a baritone resonance that is both exciting and masculine. Rather than anesthetics, my SS now has some balls. While driving, there is a constant drone sound, but I think of it as a sign that the muffler is about to fail. To my ears, there isn't as much symphonic noise. Also, make sure the tips are adjusted so that the embedded "SLP" logo is visible. Why not demonstrate that Loud Mouth is the source of the commotion? It's funny now that I've gotten used to the sound and see other cars with upgraded mufflers-- They're also revving their engines. So that's a sign that my pipes are producing a fantastic visceral soundscape. Now, a word of advice: make sure you buy/install a K. Also, there's a cold air intake- It packs a powerful punch! Yes, my gas mileage improved almost immediately (as long as you don't slam on the brakes!). Isn't it true that you should try to be more moderate? ) is the most fluid, and the reaction is terrifying. I reach 90 MPH in 5 to 7 seconds when I accelerate onto the highway. Hey, you've got to get in that far left lane and establish a presence. right! br>br>Overall, the best buy in comparison to Borla pipes- It's close, but again, it's a matter of personal preference. You'll be happy if you throw money at this deal! Don't even think twice about it, but don't forget to include the cold air intake. Oh, and don't forget to include a radar detector. ) Cheers!.
The sound is fantastic. The old has to go, and the new has to take its place. On my 2015 SS, it's a perfect fit. The sound is fantastic. At idle, it's a little louder, and when it starts up, it's a little louder. It has a great sound that you can hear right away when you get on it. When you step on the gas, it's not enough to annoy your neighbor, but it's enough to turn heads.
Installing it was a breeze, and it sounded fantastic.
It's a perfect match for the stock exhaust.
