The original exhaust must be cut at the point specified in the instructions, and if my memory serves me correctly, the Gibsons' flange slips over it, after which they are either welded or clamped (I forget). My exhaust shop completed the job in about 20 minutes for $100 (your shop's time may differ) - It's as easy as pie!
Yes, there are instructions included.
That is correct. From the 2010 to 2015 gen 5 Camaro ls, GM made no changes to the exhaust hanger position, as far as I know.
Yes, it is appropriate for the year 2010. Camaros with V6 engines from 2015.

This axle-back system appears to be very promising. The instructions were fairly straightforward in terms of where to cut existing exhaust, etc. , but I would strongly advise purchasing some heavy-duty 2 1/4" exhaust clamps. When I slammed my impact into the provided clamps, they immediately stripped out and became useless. Instead of looking for heavy-duty exhaust clamps, I went back to Plan B and fired up the welder. If you don't have access to a welder, be proactive or arrange for installation at an exhaust shop. I'm not sure how well the exhaust tips bolt on because I also had to weld them on. They look fantastic once they've been installed. br>br>Here's a little secret: spray the old and new mufflers with a quick spray of silicone or other penetrating solvent to make them slide into the hangers with ease. It's a cinch to use. br>br>I deducted one star because I had to use my welder, but I'm happier with this installation and no longer have to "check tightness" of poor exhaust clamps after 25 years. According to the instructions, you should travel 50 miles.
backs, excellent sound, shoddy clamps For my daughter's 2010 Camaro, I purchased these. She was looking for a way to make the car sound more aggressive, and these were perfect for the job. They aren't particularly loud or obnoxious, but they do have an excellent growl. br>The only reason I gave them four stars is because the muffler clamps that came with them are terrible. With stripping, they can't be tightened enough to hold the muffler in place. I ended up purchasing two Walker strap clamps from Amazon with the $25 rebate. They are flawless and performed admirably.
.
The brackets were misaligned, but they could be bent to center the tips. For a six-cylinder engine, it sounds fantastic. No matter what muffler you put on a V6, you'll never get that V8 rumble, but at idle, the Gibson Exhaust is hard to tell apart, and the larger tips look great. Update; br>br> The sound has become deeper after about 500 miles!.
The sound and performance are excellent, but the installation was difficult because the clamp for the tips did not grip the muffler well. The tips had to be welded on or modified.
A local muffler shop just finished installing them. The sound is perfect; it's not too loud at low speeds but gets louder as you speed up. My 2012 Camaro V6 was a perfect fit.
I'm very pleased with the product, and I had it professionally installed. It's funny because I've noticed a few people looking in my direction to see where the rumble was coming from. It sounds insane to start a business from the ground up. The sound fades to a consistent rumble once it settles in and you drive away. This purchase has made me very happy.
It's simple to install; simply remove the stock mufflers. The instructions are simple to follow. Muffler clamps included in the kit aren't the best.
There is a slight tinny noise in high rpm, but it is not too loud or too quiet. It's well-made and comfortable to wear.
