A subpar welding job was performed on this piece The welding was sub-par, leading me to suspect that this might not be an authentic Walker product. There were areas where air was easily flowing through the welding (I tested it so I know it was easily flowing through). There was a gap between the piping and the drain In addition to this, the welds were more raised near the edges. The product seemed to have no issues with anything else on it.
My '97 Acura CL 2 needed this in new condition and it was just what I needed. One of the only things it is was not packaged. UPS sent it with some shipping labels, just as if it were a package Due to the fact that it has a few bends in it, if it was in a box, it would take up a large amount of space that is not I only had a few issues with it, such as the stickers being hard to remove, so I just let them burn off with time. This left my room with a slight plastic smell for the first week but after that, my room was fine. When you include tax, it was about $50 cheaper than what you could buy at any local auto parts store. However, I did find it cheaper on another site, so I willingly paid the few extra dollars knowing it would be sold and backed by Amazon, a company that is known for its great customer service. If you are interested, you can find that review. The overall experience of buying this type of item was good. Replacement exhaust resonators such as these would be a good investment for any automotive enthusiast.
This part fits a 1995 Honda Accord ex 4 door just fine. Make sure to order both sides of the gasket.
Everything that was described to me was delivered in good Taking it apart and putting it back together was not difficult. you're a novice mechanic, don't worry, once you're under your car, it's not too hard to understand what's going on. The Honda Accord 4 door I own was made in 1997. I had rusted out the mesh part of my exhaust and the car was very loud because of it. I no longer heard loud noises in the car after installation, and it feels and drives great now. As a result, I also purchased the round gasket and the triangle gasket as recommended and I was very pleased that I had purchased both because they were required for both ends of the pipe. I would definitely recommend this resonator to anyone who has a need for it.
This is a pretty good quality product.
There is no instruction manual or gasket, but it fits correctly.
After the flex section the vibration that results from not having weights added does not seem to be as bad. There are many bend deformities, but it works and sounds ok.
