There's a little bit of a problem there. My 00 24v might still work, but I would contact the manufacturer because the dampener weight is matched to the crank and rotating assembly. However, I was told that if you changed pistons or rods, it should still work. If you need a different model than what they sell off the shelf, they can make one for you.
As far as I'm concerned, it should There may be a need to weld it on if the bolts are not lined up properly.

Motor with 9 valves and 24 valves. The truck I have is completely stock and has only 89,900 miles on it. After noticing the stock vibration damper was wobbling, and reading in the owner's manual that it should be checked every 30,000 miles, I decided to purchase My package arrived, and I was pleased with how the damper was packaged with 'Made in USA' on it. The box is proudly adorned with the words 'Proudly Made in the USA'. I am very pleased with the performance of the damper and its durability. I found the installation of my truck pretty straightforward. As for the fan and shroud, I did not need to remove them. The belt was released from the tensioner pulley and then I removed the access cover from the bottom of my automatic transmission, wedged a bar between the flex plate and torque converter, then removed the bolts holding the stock damper and pulled it In a second step, I added the After removing the anti-seize from the crankshaft, I installed the new damper and put anti-corrosion on it My new bolts, which I bought separately, did not seize when I installed them, and I torqued them to 92 ft. lbs. Weight in pounds. It was much easier to remove the bar from the torque converter, reinstall the access cover (3 tiny screws), and then put on the belt again. In order to install the unit, I needed to contact Fluidampr Technical Support for a specific question (whether I needed new bolts or not). I have to say - their service was excellent. I thought they were great. When I called the receptionist, she was extremely friendly and then she transferred me to the tech support guy, who was nothing but polite and helpful throughout the entire process. In this day and age, having a live person answer the phone is a real pleasure rather than using a computer with an automated voice prompt. After I started the truck I immediately noticed that the idle is a little smoother, but the real difference is when you drive it and accelerate or pull at higher RPMs. I also noticed a difference when shutting down the engine. It cuts off nicely My truck's damper will last for the life of the vehicle and will keep its engine from experiencing excessive vibrations.
Now that I know what I know now, I think anyone with a diesel truck like mine should buy this product. It is well worth the price and makes driving the truck much more comfortable.
I installed this damper, even though it was not cheap, since I thought it would spare the crank, valve train, engine accessories, etc. from unnecessary stress in the long run. After installation, the vibration at idle diminished noticeably. There is also a slight reduction in idle sound. Vibrations while driving seem to be less, as well, but not as much as they were This damper is generally a good choice for me. If you plan to run your cummins for the long haul, you might want to check this out.
There is no doubt that the sellers are 87) more reasonable than usual. A real smooth acceleration through 2K rpm on the 2001 HO Cummins with a very quiet engine. There is less noise on the highways as well. Your tank is filled with really good fuel, and the car runs smoothly.
I love it, I really do.
