I bought it for my Apollo x18 125cc pit bike, and it was perfect. Right product at a great price.
These gear sets have a nice fit and finish to them. The picture's gear set is arranged incorrectly. It's easier to see how the gears mesh if you turn either one over. I'm making a small motor scooter with a 212cc 7-cylinder engine. A variable diameter pulley belt drive torque converter (Comet Series 30) will provide a 3:1 ratio with a 5 HP gasoline engine. 1:1 for low-speed starts and 1:1 for the final ratio. I want to be able to do some off-road hill climbing, so I'm making a two-speed final drive box out of the transmission gears. A 2:3 ratio will be obtained in low gear. High gear will give you almost a 1:1 ratio, and low gear will give you nearly a 1:4 ratio. 1 ratio. Because the engine rotates clockwise, the cylinder is usually pointed backwards, but with a gear to gear connection, the final output will be reversed, allowing me to mount the engine with the cylinder head facing forwards, as seen on most commercially built motor scooters and bikes. I can also use the lower gear for faster takeoffs and the higher gear for cruising at 40 to 50 miles per hour. In essence, when I'm finished, I'll have a six-speed motor scooter.
