This stopped the click sound on my 2012 Chevy Volt when I accelerated (or sometimes decelerated)

It requires a 36 mm socket, which is larger than the standard 32 mm socket. In comparison to the old one, I couldn't tell if the inward-facing side had any different surface area. However, it was successful in resolving the issue.

The original nut has been widened

On the 2014 Chevy Volt, you used to be able to adjust the axle with the tires on, but now you have to remove the tires from the hub due to the new nut. Sad! br>br>However, it accomplishes the goal.
